From 2027 Roblox is going to be taking a cut from all brand integrations inside games. Currently a brand can work directly with developers, meaning developers take the full fee, from 2027 Roblox will be charging developers for having brands inside their games.

@HexagonBuildsRB I haven’t necessarily trusted Unions outside of very simple geometry. In the past, anything that goes beyond simple changes would sometimes become corrupt and unrecoverable. I would suggest using MeshParts anything that requires multiple steps.

Would love to see the ability to offset X / Y like in Textures, but for SurfaceAppearance. Imagine you can offset a Neon Emissive map to make a rainbow strobe. Or even be able to do a neon-like charge up on a mesh the same way we use UIGradients.

Play Pals didn’t take any project funds or underpay anyone. Their team set the milestones and pay rates. Payments followed that structure. When deliverables weren’t met, payments were delayed and we still gave partial payment for partial work despite not being contractually required to. That’s all we’re going to say on this.

Genuinely pathetic 😬 Fuck Playpals for underpaying the original devs, laying them off, and then deleting all of the work they had done these past 4 years. Their "rework" looks like absolute shit.

Tbh trying to balance speed and quality of development is definitely an art. It's good to make good structured systems, but you gotta be able to verify what you're making is fun.
