A few years ago my heart stopped.
Lyme disease had triggered a heart attack and doctors had to defibrillate me.
During the cardiac arrest I had the strangest experience.
I was standing in a peaceful sunny meadow. Everything felt incredibly calm.
When I woke up I looked at the nurse and said:
“Make sure there’s a sword ready… otherwise I won’t get into Valhalla.”
She stared at me like I was completely insane.
Apparently even near-death experiences are Nordic. ⚔️
