@farmerdanb Yes, there's a cognitive dissonance at work where govt & business agree that climate & ecological problems are complex & interwoven, yet when looking to metrics to help assess where & when to act there's a reliance on blunt instruments which perpetuates silo mentality.

In my experience @GeorgeMonbiot makes big statements and then hides from debate. @suepritch doesn’t. I was say she has as balanced opinion as anyone in UK agriculture. George seem his happiest when making people unhappy. Not a trait I respect.
