@MTA Terrible descision. It levies an unfair tax on those who live in the zone - the wealthy won’t care, but those on a budget will be hit hard. Another blow to the middle class, another step towards turning Manhattan into a luxury product

@OliverStrand And roasters (incl. the one you're talking about here) aren't necessarily flush with cash, and returns, reshipments, lost packages are real costs for the business. I just think it's worth having some sympathy for them as well in this situation.

@alexkaplan0 Is it though? You're saying it's the consumer's responsibility for something they never touched or saw? That the seller packaged, labeled, insured, and shipped?

@OliverStrand If they're using Shopify for their webstore, all orders are insured and they have no reason not to replace the order!

New question for coffee people: When you buy coffee on the web is the roaster responsible for shipping mishaps? And they should replace lost/damaged coffee? Or is it on the buyer? And you assume 100% of the risk the moment you click PURCHASE?
