@DNicholsAuthor It’s why I do only limited marketing on social media now, because there’s no point dedicating time to posting for only 20 views and 3 likes. They say ‘you get out what put in’, but with algorithms now, I disagree…

This platform is a hoot. I see authors announcing big news, people sharing profound things in their lives, & they get a meager amount of LIKES if any. Then I see a post asking if you put ketchup on your eggs & the damn thing has thousands. Make it make sense. #WritingCommunity

@DR_BEATS_KICK Rooftops, carparks, industrial areas need to be used for this, absolutely. Cities need to contribute to creating the energy the country needs, and fields need to be used for agriculture.

@thinkingwest We don’t need oversaturation of one genre. Besides, there are plenty of TV series set in ancient Rome…

@BowesChay I don’t even think the bureaucrats running Europe hate Russia, either, but they are paid by industrial complexes that need division and conflict to make a profit. Today it’s Russia, tomorrow it will be someone else. It’s business for them.

The Poles are great people. Decent. Hard working, great humour. I can't find any ordinary Poles who hate Russia or want a War in Europe, same for the ordinary French, British and Germans Where do the Ghouls running Europe come from? And who do they really serve?

@bestofstarwar I understand not doing stunts, but surely Pascal can be the ‘suit performer’ as well?

It is highly irregular for stunt performers to share top billing with the lead actor/actress. How often do you think Pedro was actually on screen during the film?

As ridiculous as this scene looks, it is based on true events. One of the last cannon shots fired that day struck Uxbridge's right leg. It had to be amputated above the knee. 119 years after the battle the leg was still causing uproar. The owner of the house where the operation took place, M. Paris, asked if he might bury the leg in his garden. He turned it into a shrine and it became one of the places people visited when going to the battlefield. The tour started with the bloody chair where Uxbridge had sat during the amputation. Then they went the garden, where the leg had its own tombstone. The inscription called him a hero who helped decide the fate of mankind. Tourists came, among them the King of Prussia and the Prince of Orange. Useful income for the Paris family for decades. 1878. Uxbridge's son visits. The bones aren't buried anymore. They're on open display. A storm had uprooted the willow tree beside which they lay. The Belgian ambassador demands they be sent to England. The Paris family refuses. They offer to sell them instead. The Uxbridge family already outraged, now furious. The Belgian Minister of Justice steps in and orders them reburied. The story does not end there. 1934. The last M. Paris dies. His widow finds the bones hidden in his study. She panics at the thought of another scandal. The bones were burned in the furnace of the house. 23 days until I walk this ground myself. 🦵

@EuroConOfficial Do it American style. Put people on a plane. Fly that plane to the country of origin, people get out, you fly back. But Europe can’t help but make it more complicated.

@TheCinesthetic He’s speaking to Brad Pitt, not an extra. So he won’t be ‘dead in this business’ for doing that… but I understand why it would p*ss off a director.

Quentin Tarantino reportedly clashed with Brad Pitt while filming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). Tarantino allegedly told Pitt: “Never again in your life will you ever cut a camera or you’ll be dead in this business.” (Via: variety.com/2026/film/news…)
