Some altar boys in my parish were temporarily suspended because they played football on the church premises. It was even announced at Mass 😭 Some boys are really naughty. But something beautiful came out of it, too. Since some boys were suspended, we now have more girls serving on the altar, and honestly, it is beautiful to see. Reverence matters in the house of God ❤️

@UcheMaryOkoli That’s too harsh 😕. I want to believe they must have been warned several times to warrant suspension. Those days when we were altar boys, we joined because of the football after rehearsal 😂😂
