From the lens of "anything is possible", I get why you'll think of this but that takes away the richness of having a sit down conversation with someone about their life experiences

@OlumideSamuel_ P.S. If there's absolutely no way to get audio of any usable quality out of a call, WhatsApp voice notes + chat could substitute.
You could then feed that through a pipeline to generate a podcast from that. Will take a bit more effort but should work well.

Depends how much work you want to do. If his phone has a great mic, you can record a phone call and post-process the audio.
Can post-process several ways, two interesting ones come to mind:
1. Use AI to automagically enhance the audio.
2. Transcribe the conversation and regenerate audio from scratch using an AI Voice cloner.
There really should be a tool for this.

every African creative should have a French version (or translation) of everything they do. That accessibility will open up doors to a whole new world.
By the way, there are more French speaking African countries than English speaking ones.

The Francophone audience is actually massiveeee! There are huge things that exist in that huge market that English speaking countries don't even know of their existence. and they're serving HUGE numbers as well.
