This is a before-and-after photo of Eko Atlantic City, a visionary project conceived and developed by then-Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, built on land reclaimed entirely from the Atlantic Ocean. What you are looking at was just water, until Asiwaju Tinubu saw the future and, like Moses, parted the sea and turned it to dry land! Today, Eko Atlantic City is the most expensive commercial real estate in Sub-Saharan Africa, bar none. With a total value of $6 billion, Eko Atlantic City is now worth more than the entire GDPs of 20 out of Nigeria's 36 states. Please fact-check me. To show Asiwaju Tinubu's ability to build relationships beyond partisan politics, religion, and region, even though they were in opposing political parties and were about to face each other in a keenly fought election just two years later, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu put Nigeria ahead of his own interests and ensured that then President Jonathan was invited to commission Eko Atlantic City on Thursday, February 21, 2013. Meanwhile, Peter Obi, who did not build even one nursery, secondary, or primary school and university in Anambra in his eight years as Governor, refused to celebrate Professor Wole Soyinka on his 90th and 91st birthdays because of their political disagreement after the 2023 election, when Professor Soyinka exposed him as a 'Gbajue'. Meanwhile, before and during the 2023 election, Peter Obi called Professor Soyinka his "father," was always in and out of Mr Soyinka's home, and never missed wishing Nigeria's only Nobel Laureate a happy birthday. That's the difference between a leader and a trader! Citizens of Nigeria, in 2027, Nigeria needs a President who builds new relationships, new cities, new schools, new hospitals, new power stations, and new roads, like the ongoing ₦15 trillion 750-kilometre Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, the ₦13 trillion Ilela-Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, and the $750 million Trans-Saharan Highway from Ebonyi to the North. Nigeria does not need a petty President who keeps malice more than Frank Edoho and whose main achievement as Governor was building a loss-making beer brewery, only to team up with another former Governor who banned beer in his state.

2025 Papiri school abduction: DSS arrests 2 foreigners, 3 others Department of State Services, DSS has arrested five persons, including two Nigeriens, suspected to be arms couriers to gunmen who, on November 21, 2025, attacked St. Mary’s Catholic school in Papiri community of Niger State, abducting nearly 300 students and staff. Recovered from the men were a large cache of arms, including 15 AK rifles and 1,434 rounds of live ammunition. According to credible security sources, one Yusuf Mohammed also known as Bature, who is on the list of wanted members of Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad, also known as Boko Haram terror organisation and his accomplice, Mubarak Ibrahim were arrested on the Zaria-Kaduna Highway while on their way to collect a consignment of arms for their commanders. A follow-up operation, led to the arrest of Goni Ibrahim, an international arms courier from Diffa Region of Niger Republic. Arrested alongside Ibrahim was one Tukur Sani who was identified as his accomplice. The security sources disclosed that, concealed in an unnamed blue car the arrested men were travelling in were 15 AK 103 rifles, 15 magazines and 1,434 rounds of 7.62 mm live ammunition. Days after the arrests, another member of the arms courier syndicate, identified as Alhaji Adamu also known as Gado Banufe, known to be supplying arms around the Kebbi axis, was arrested in Yauri, Kebbi State. The security sources disclosed that preliminary investigations established that the five men served as arms couriers to the gunmen who carried out the November 2025 attacks on the Catholic boarding school in Papiri. Dozens of gunmen on motorcycles had in the wee hours of November 21, 2025, stormed the Catholic primary and secondary boarding school, rounding up students and teachers at gunpoint. While about 50 of the children managed to escape in the chaos that greeted the attack, over 250 others were marched for days into the Kainji Lake Reserve forest. More than a month after the attack, on December 21, 2025, the federal government and Niger state officials confirmed the rescue and safe return of the remaining 130 captives, with government officials confirming that not a single pupil remained in captivity.

When bandits were terrorising us in Kwara, we saw how our Governor was running up and down and we still called him out. He never even for once blamed the President or played politics with it. Even the Eruku worshipers that were later freed, it took the combined efforts of both the state and federal government to get them out. Oyo State Governor should learn from Governor of Kwara; stop being irresponsible and do the needful. He can play politics later when his people are out of kidnappers’ den.

I wish everyone who is interested in economy can listen to the interview of Bismarck Rewane on @ARISEtv right now. He is dissecting the reforms...impact and next level....and it is looking good.... He said the ongoing power sector reform to take power distribution to 10,000 MW ..if it goes well, should add bw 3-4% to GDP Growth rate starting from 2027.....i.e total of 7% Growth. On how to bridge existing poverty /hunger gap...he said STATE AND LOCAL GOVTS MUST BE ACCOUNTABLE and DO MUCH MORE TO DELIVER to the locals and grassroots. Is this not what some of us have been saying? But ndi take back Aso Rock chose to maintain deaf ears !

Most of you have been brainwashed by the movies you watch and Hollywood. When captors threaten to kill hostages if force is used, you think it’s bluff? They released a video, threatening to take a life if brute force is used you think it's just for show? They were never bigger than the Nigerian military in firepower, training, or numbers. What they’re bigger in is cruelty and the advantage of hiding among civilians. That’s what makes rescue ops complicated. Anger is 100% valid. But y’all tweet ignorantly if you think brute force has zero consequences when real lives are the bargaining chip.
Raye@Raye_Hg

This kidnappers are they bigger than the Nigerian military forces? Is this country a joke or what exactly! The military forces in Nigeria should cover their faces in shame! 🤮🤮🤮 so you are telling me nothing absolutely nothing can be done!

When people were kidnapped in a Kwara state church, how many of these artistes did you see speaking out? No one is happy about what happened in Ọ̀yọ́... But people that have been paid should stop using the pains of our people for clout, gigs etc... Also they should tell us who we should replace PBAT with and how that person has resolved security crisis in a similar office... Thank you

Nigeria allowed food into Biafra, but stopped when they discovered that Biafran soldiers were diverting food meant for civilians while leaving them to die. Ojukwu would rather use their misery for content. Even Robert Goldstein, Biafra's own US PR agent, resigned in protest...
Naram-Sin (Amorim Survivor)@crealkillah

@BusuyiOrisWorks Even Israel allows food aid to reach Palestinian civilians from time to time. My issue is not with soldiers killing soldiers. It is with starving over a million children to death. So you think starving civilians is legit?

You tagged me to a video of terrorists torturing innocent children asking me for the explanation because I support APC. The only explanation I can give is that you are not better than those terrorists because you are only using the sad situation of those children to chase clout and farm engagement because your question is a very stupid one crafted to score unnecessary political points. I'll do the needful at the right time, but for now, enjoy the clout chasing. I intentionally didn't engage the post to starve you of the oxygen you need.

You stop at the £20. Awolowo saved up all the allocations of the EAST for 3 years when the war was ongoing. He kept it and despite the grumble of the FEC, When the government of the east was set up. Every dime was paid to them. Awolowo did that. He didn't have to. Over 5,000 people got loans to start businesses because Awolowo made it possible. They have so much hatred in their hearts
'Busuyi Oris@BusuyiOrisWorks

£20 was a gift. After the war, Nigeria chose to give the Ibo the equivalent of two months' wages for an unskilled junior government worker. When someone gives you a gift, you show gratitude, not complaints. Don't be an ingrate.

Even Peter Obi their principal himself; if he had been left to pass through a primary election, whether free and fair or not, he would have lost like his supporters too. So, what would have befallen him is bound to befall his supporters, given the same circumstance. Obi dreads primary election. It is the reason why he always guns for free ticket in any party he moves into. Unfortunately, he lacks the influence to ensure free or concensus nominations for his supporters too; especially, the highly resourceful ones within the Obidient 'movement'. Or do I say he is so self-minded to be thoughtful of his supporters? Obi is a featherweight politician deceptively padded by his vociferous supporters to look like a charismatic political leader with the positive influence to make things happen for himself and his supporters, not 'followers'. I deliberately do not call his supporters 'followers', because only a leader has followers. And Obi does not evince the quality to be called one; at least, in the context of political or public leadership. A charismatic politician with a large cult of supporters like the Obidients would have positively wielded them as a bargaining power to bring some good things home to himself and his supportes within any political circle. That was what Bola Tinubu did back then with his ACN bloc of APC, and still does. That is what makes him stay relevant and formidable in the Party. That was the power he wielded in 2022 to lay claim to the highest office in the Party and in the country. That is why he is President today. And that is why his followers and longtime loyalists are in prime positions of power in Nigeria today.

While speaking after the premier of the stage play "A tale of two Nnamdi's", Governor Soludo has stated that the south east is only contributing a little percentage to the gross domestic product of Nigeria's economy. He said that in 1999, the entire South East economy only contributed 7.9% to the GDP of Nigeria compared to Lagos state, Niger Delta and Abuja. He added that if these major regions and cities were to shut down, Nigeria would be affected because they contribute a major percentage to the GDP of the country but for the south east, even if it falls under a volcanic eruption tomorrow, the economy of Nigeria will not be affected. Nigerians will only see the collapse as a human disaster and move on with their lives unperturbed because the south east brings nothing but 8%. Professor Soludo said the people in the south east should understand that whenever they shut down business, schools, and other economic structures under the umbrella of Biafra agitation, they are only harming themselves. He further stated that the economy of the south east has been greatly affected by the Monday sit at home but the Igbo elites are in denial of the harmful effects it has resulted into.

If you still “but”your way into patronizing these gaslighters because of the version of “One Nigeria” being sold to you, I hope it’s not too late before you realize how foolish you’re being. They’ve already reminded you that the kidnapped children are “not their kinsmen,” by the way.
