@theClevite @renoomokri @Desmith2012 Peter is not afraid of primaries. He wanted primaries but the party said consensus. He had to leave because they had already played to give it to Atiku.

It is technologically impossible for the Nigeria Democratic Congress website, as presently constituted, to register 10 million members in 24 hours. In fact, no single website in Africa has the capability to register 10 million distinct, data-intensive users within 24 hours.
Registering that number of people in 24 hours requires extremely intensive server capacity, especially when processing biometric, biodata, or biographic information.
Even ChatGPT took 40 days to register 10 million users. And X (formerly Twitter) has never registered 10 million new users in 24 hours.
About the only website on Earth ever to reach 10 million registered users in 24 hours or less is Threads, and they only did so because it is owned by Meta (Facebook), which automatically integrated users who were already registered on Instagram and Facebook.
Perhaps political parties can be more cautious in their claims if they want to be taken seriously by the public.

Trump adviser Boulos threatens legal action over claims he benefitted from Lagos-Calabar road contract
Massad Boulos, senior adviser to US President Donald Trump for Arab and African affairs, has threatened legal action over claims that he benefitted from the Lagos-Calabar coastal road project.
Recent social media reports claimed that SCOA Nigeria, a company that deals in heavy-duty trucks and where Boulos serves as chief executive officer (CEOO), supplies equipment to Hitech Construction Company Ltd.

All these overhyping, overcoating and exergerating is all you people have about Obi and nothing else. Can you imagine! He saved $500million?! Do you know how much that was in Naira by then? That is 675 Billion Naira plus even now!!! Which state had that in saves even by then and now, let alone in 2014 when Obi left office?
How much was the entire budget of Nigeria as at 2014? The total federal revenue allocated to States was not even up to that at that time. And the same Obi owed lecturers to the extent they went on strike. He could not pay medical doctor and fund hospitals that doctors had to go on strike for a whole of 13 months, and sick people had to be losing lives! If he saved that much,he would not have increased school fees beyond the reach of common people like he did. He even mocked his people by saying education is not for poor people. Of course, by the time Obi left office, he had plunged Anambra people deeper into poverty than he met them, being the only Governor under whom poverty rate inreased and even doubled in the history of Anambra.
If personal integrity is all that is needed to run a country or be a better presidential candidate, Buhari would have turned Nigeria to UAE. Buhari rejected and refused more statutory benefits as a former military head of state than all you claimed Obi rejected as former governor. He was the poorest among all former military rulers. He had no oil bloc, private university or any personal company like any of his fellow Nigerian ex-rulers. In fact, he was so brutal against corruption to the extent of running foul of human rights during his military rule. Buhari did not hide any corrupt wealth in any British Virgin Island or Panama like Obi did. He did not put state money in any business in which his family has stakeholding interest like Obi did.
English

Show me another Nigerian governor who left office, refused his pension, rejected the land allocated to him, and walked away with $500m saved for the state, instead of for himself. I’ll wait.
Show me a better presidential candidate better than him. If you can show me on you get 50k this instant.

Within 24 Hours of Peter Obi Joining the NDC, Over 10 Million Nigerians Registered with the NDC – Adebayo
Many ADC members have defected into the NDC; they obviously know something. The person who has the capability to win the election is Obi.
Dr. Adefolaseye Adebayo, South West Coordinator, Obi-Kwankwaso Movement
English

If Obi have millions of followers in a party, and those followers can still be bought over with dollars or influenced in any way by Atiku, governors or any person or group, it only means he does not earn the love and trust of those followers, in the first place. It means he is a weak, feeble and paperweight politician not fit for any leadership position, not to talk of presidency. If such a person get to the highest office by any mistake in a country, especially a complex and diverse one like Nigeria. The country can be taken away from him at any moment. It is a matter of time; he would be overrun by coup!
If he truly have millions in a party, he would be the leader of the biggest power bloc in that party. No other person would have been able to outpower or out-muscle him,not to talk of chasing him away. Obi is just a paperweight, nothing more!
English

@theClevite @ARISEtv They are : Often selected through internal party structures
Influenced by governors, party leaders, and power blocs
Vulnerable to inducement (this is a widely acknowledged issue in Nigerian politics)
English

Get properly educated; indirect primary has been outlawed by the Electoral Act, 2026. Saying it is "inaccurate" to say primary does not involve delegates is an outright demonstration of stubborn ignorance. Since there is no more delegate system of voting anymore, it is pointless to continue to talk on that with you.
It is clear Peter Obi does not command the numerical followership needed to win a party primary, now that it is even no more by delegates. If he actually have millions of registered supporters in any party he belongs to, and the supporters are truly organic supporters that love him without him giving them money, those people will form majority among any voters at unit and ward levels within his party. In fact, he would control party structure, because the power of any politician within his party is the numerical strength of his followers. That is how politicians take control of party structure. That is their bargaining power. His supporters would be majority among party Excos at all levels. And they cannot be bought over.
Politicians that spend money do so because they do not have the organic supporters who would voluntarily vote for them like Obi's followers do claim. If Obi's followers are actually in millions in a party, and those followers claim they love him naturally, not that he gives them money, and Obi is still afraid of contesting for ticket, and runs away from where they will not 'give' him free ticket, then that followership claim is nothing but a VERY BIG LIE.
English

@theClevite @ARISEtv Yes, the Electoral Act allows direct primaries, indirect (delegate) primaries, or consensus. But in reality, most major parties in Nigeria,
English

@Pompous22 @ARISEtv Electoral Act 2026 does not allow indirect primary. Nomination for any election from 2026 forward will be by either direct primary or concensus. Parties cannot go outside the two modes.
English

Primary does not involve delegates. By provision of the Electoral Act 2026,nomination is by direct primary or concensus. Your ignorance of this shows you are the one that actually needs education.
Even if primary were by delegate system; since the delegates would still be people elected or selected from among party members from ward levels across Nigeria, Peter Obi should not have been afraid of losing, if he actually have millions of registered supporters in the party at ward levels. Why should he be afraid that his delegates who claim to be organic would be bought with dollars?
English

@theClevite @ARISEtv Read what you just typed.
Let me educate u more. Primary involves delegates and Atiku is doing a vote-buying at the delegate level.
English

@Pompous22 @ARISEtv If Obi actually had millions of supporters registered in ADC, he would not be thinking of any need to spend dollars to get their votes in a primary.
English

@theClevite @ARISEtv Obi won’t spend 100m on that ticket and a dollarized primaries
English

@Churchboooy @ARISEtv Just like Peter Obi rebuilt Anambra State by plunging the people into poverty in his 8 years of rule as Governor.
English

@theClevite @ARISEtv Rest.. let's think of how to rebuild Nigeria with Peter Obi because Tinubu had shown that he can't do it.
English

If you and your purported over 2k member group actually exist together with millions of others in a party for Peter Obi alone, you CAN NEVER be afraid of any small group of persons in any party or whoever they are working for, because you would surely overpower them with your number.
You are making this lame excuse, because you are ignorant of party politics. The strength of any movement or group within a political party is their number and the power of any politician in a political party is the numerical strength of his supporters in that party.
If Obi actually had millions of supporters registered in ADC or any party, he would have control of the party. He would have his own people in the control seat. He would determine direction of decisions, including nomination formula, whether primary or concensus. He would not be asking for zoning. He is asking for zoning because he knows he does not have the number, if nomination was to be determined by voting or concensus.
English

@theClevite @ARISEtv To educate you, me and all my guys with a group of over 2k members refused to register since PETER OBI joined ADC because we suspected the party will not zone it's ticket and ATIKU is there working for Tinubu.
We knew that Dele Momodu and Aregbe are all working for Tinubu.
English

If Peter Obi could attract 10 millions to a party within 24 hours of joining the party, he would not be running from party to party, afraid of party primaries. He would not need to be begging for free party ticket.

@tinyandagod 😂😂😂 This is a complete echo chamber of Atiku Abubarka's megaphones!
English

Of course, the will of God will be done. The will of God is that when there comes a time in the life of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become president of Nigeria, Peter Obi will emerge to play a part. Just like Atiku, Obi is born to help Tinubu fulfill destiny. He did it in 2023. He will help him into Aso Villa the second time in 2027.
Obi is nothing but a pencil in the hands of the creator to help Tinubu's destiny. Apology to Wale Adenuga of WAP TV's 'Super Story' fame.
English

@PeterObi Let the will of God be done🙏🏻
We are always with you.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning.
I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you.
Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances.
We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal.
More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism.
We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power.
Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise.
Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them.
However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building.
Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated.
And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions.
There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline?
Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
English

@TheSerahIbrahim @PeterObi Serah Ibrahim; you are one of the causes of Peter Obi's political misadventure. You are the arrowhead; in fact, the chief of the weapons fashioned against him. And unfortunately, he knoweth it not!
English

@adeyanjudeji Whichever path Peter Obi and Abubarka Atiku take, one fact remains: it is that they are both working, whether individually or jointly, to help Bola Tinubu fulfill destiny. They will end up helping him into Aso Villa the second time in 2027.
English

Peter Obi will work for Tinubu’s second term bid like he did in 2023 by dividing opposition votes. The painful part in 2023 was that he mislead most Nigerian churches using religion to campaign. For kwankwaso, we already know his format. A divided opposition couldn’t win Tinubu when he was out of power with Emefiele redesigning the naira, is it now that it will?

English

@Venomlust_ @InsightByTee @tudobams You are correct: 'giving' Atiku the ticket is automatically a loss. 'Giving' Obi the ticket either is automatically a bigger loss. In fact, Obi's own loss to Tinubu will be a more embarrassing loss than Atiku's.
English

@InsightByTee @tudobams I don’t think anyone is trying to pressure him or anyone else, but we’re making it KNOWN, if you give him that ticket that’s automatically a loss. The citizens wants Obi and ADC must give us Obi. WE WANT OBI. NO PRESSURE
