On 10 July 2026, I was called to the Bar and announced as the Overall Best Student in the 2025 Nigerian Bar Final Examinations. It was humbling to receive 12 academic prizes donated by some of the finest minds the Nigerian legal profession has produced.

Truly, NLS students need to stop chasing only First Class advice.
The two who held my hands through law school made a 2:1. Their advice was richer than most First Class talk. Some know why they missed it.
The best mentor is often the 2:1 senior who knows the landmines.

one of the biggest mistakes you will make as a bar aspirant is to think you can only listen to academic advice from people who made a first please don't be in such a category.

BREAKING 🔥 The Lagos State Government, through the proposed Lagos State Tenancy and Recovery of Premises Bill 2025 (Draft), has criminalised harassment and illegal evictions, making it an offence for landlords to eject tenants without a valid court order or use self-help measures such as cutting utilities or dismantling parts of a building. Section 10 of the bill states, "Obligations of the landlord include not disturbing the tenant's quiet and peaceable enjoyment of the premises, including not removing the roof, cutting off electricity or water supply or doing anything that will interfere with peaceful eniovment of the demised premises."
