Awesome day yesterday..golfing with some fellow '84 Burnsville Braves @KilkarneyHills and then I headed down to @ticasino for a @Skynyrd concert...doesn't get much better than that!
Congrats @8kels_o on your graduation from @CSBSJU. Both of our girls have graduated college with Magna Cum Laude honors...I think I graduated college with Budweiser Cum Laude honors.
Broke out my dancing shoes last weekend with @8kels_o for the College of St. Benedicts Bennie Ball. I have to admit I was in awe of the dancing skills that I still possess
A couple more items off the bucket list...large twine ball in Darwin, MN, a game in Aberdeen (I think I saw the banjo player from the movie Deliverance at the game) and a visit to the Lawrence Welk birthplace in Strasburg, ND.
Up North to watch a couple of games this weekend...I used skills learned during my Burnsville Brave upbringing to wrangle some wild cattle in Cloquet and build a shelter on the shore of Gitchi-Gami
Big win for Team Freemark over Team Kloos in the annual @LSHSBoysHockey alumni game. Another old age milestone for me...my youngest playing in an alumni game
I had an ice level view of my two favorite teams, Lakeville South vs. Burnsville Braves...nice win for the Cougars...side note, the terrible music played during games last season is gone!
Visited @8kels_o today at St. Bens to watch a @SJUJohnnies soccer game, came across a football game, not sure who STU is...looks like a nice win for the football team.
If you thought '84 Burnsville Braves (Olsen, Holst, Logan and Okerlund) weren't going to conquer the @HudsonHockeyWI golf tournament today...you were wrong
Busy day, visited Big Ole in Alexandria, stopped to see the worlds largest buffalo in Jamestown and finished up with golf at Hawktree in Bismarck (not quite Heritage Links...but it is top 5)
A ninesome for nine holes at the country club for Big Al’s birthday. No, this wasn’t the golf team, it was former Lakeville South hockey players that own golf clubs.
Ventured north of the river into Minneapolis to dine @fogorestaurants. A lot to celebrate; a couple of birthdays a couple of graduations and our anniversary. Thanks to google maps I am safely back in Lakeville.
