A person was arrested at their home in Olympia this evening and taken to the Thurston County Jail where they were questioned about a demonstration that occurred last night. They were quickly released after invoking their right to remain silent. (1/4)

"Peace, nonviolence, & restraint" is the standard regular people are held to while the cops riot, murder a forest defender & lie about it, target peaceful activists in the city for arrest, slap them w/ bogus "terrorism" charges, & get caught on a police scanner bragging about it

After listening to over 12 hours of public comment against Cop City, City Council voted to fund Cop City by a vote of 11-4.
After community members left city hall, Councilman Matt Westmoreland made a point to stay and shake hands with Atlanta Police Officers.

Rukia Rogers, founder of the Highlander School, has ten minutes to speak. She says there has been a constant insinuation by Cop City proponents that “this is a white movement.” Rogers says the movement is multigenerational and multiracial.
