@Fitayymoo Currently a resident in the US, the golden weekend thing is not true universally. Depends on the rotation and program you're in. The pay is much better than what you get as a resident in Pak, can easily rent a good apt, lease/finance a new car and still save some.

Lol. Resident doctors in the USA are as miserable as any junior doctor in the world. They work INSANE hours on minimum wages. They have one weekend free in a month, which is called the 'Golden weekend'. Do some research or get honest friends :)

@Matka_Biriyani Oh bhai konsa nasha kiya hua hai? A doctor in USA is able to afford every single luxury in his payout that you can only think of. Lifestyle, going out, house, cars, future investments, gyms, food, supporting family, still left with money. 50 hrs/week work with weekends off.
