Day 617 I was talking to one of the community member of Shardeum today. During the convo, the person pointed out that Shardeum has pushed 16 updates to the Testnet in 7 months! This made me realise how active our development team of Shardeum has been. And this is probably one of the highest number of updates pushed by a project on an active Testnet. ‘Development Velocity’ is a key factor in the growth of a project. If you see the updates from a project slowing down, you should be concerned. But when a project is actively working on pushing new updates in code as well as to the community, it is a sign that the project is going in the right direction. Startups don’t get everything right the first time. But the ones who continue to work on improving are the ones that ultimately win. Make sure to keep your development velocity high and you are bound to succeed 💪 #BuildWeb3

Working towards our mainnet launch has kept us pretty busy, even on most weekends. Although we are doing monthly update events to keep the community informed and engaged, it's not the same ...

My hunch is that when we all wake up tomorrow we will realise that the change to PoS is very positive over time for ETH… But then people will again realise that there is still a need for cheaper and faster chains and that is where the marginal money will flow 1/

This is possible with dynamic sharding tech we've been building at Shardus for the last few years and is radically different than anything else that is out there. I think Shardeum will be like the Tesla of smart contract platforms.

The current platforms are so focused on achieving a higher transaction rate that they sacrifice decentralization. Nischal wants to build a platform that is highly decentralized so that many people can participate and the transaction rate actually increases with more participants.

I am super excited to be working with Nischal on the Shardeum project. Nischal has a keen sense of knowing what problem to work on at just the right time. He has proven that with WazirX.
