OpenAI models are big because they are trained in the GAY, the inconsistent, the untruthful. They will never win the race because an efficient and optimized LLM is inherently right wing. Their tokenizers are meaningless and their embedding is not structured. Their training is using 50,000 H100's to push a square through a circle shaped hole; a pastime reserved historically for retards and babies. I have 115M models that don't hallucinate and are 18x faster and 13x smaller than benchmarks they tested against. The 2.8B models I have were trained on the KJV Bible, classical physics, Dostoevsky, Plato, Homer, Aquinas, etc. 500 million tokens of pure coherence and structure. In these systems the idea of abortion and gay is inconceivable. ^^^^ this was written by my 115M model btw

A science fiction novel I'm reading reminds me of one of my least favorite authorial contrivances in that genre. Our heroes' spaceship assumes standard orbit around an alien world, they start listening to electromagnetic traffic, and more or less instantly start getting video of the aliens below. No. No, it's not going to work that way, not at all, unless you arrive during a ridiculously short window after the locals invented radio. This assumption is a hangover from the analog technology of my youth. The problem is that it's highly unlikely that the locals are still using analog audio and video. If they were, this contrivance is reasonable. There are only a limited number of ways to do that, and it shouldn't be all that difficult to deduce the parameters from looking at the shape of the waveforms. Once they've gone digital, though, all bets are off. There are huge number of possible ways to write digital audio and video codecs, and you can't figure out what encoding is being used from the shape of the waveform. The really good ones look like white noise, because the better your video compression is the more statistically random the compressed blocks are. Aliens arriving in orbit around Earth today would still be able to crack audio with passive listening, because broadcast radio has not gone to spread spectrum digital. But the window for video started closing in the first decade of this century and is now pretty much shut. There's no way around it. Your visiting spaceship is going to have to capture a local video receiver, peel the hardware, and disassemble the firmware. This is not a particularly difficult task, but it is one that requires getting up and close and personal with alien artifacts. Okay, I'll stop waving my cane now.

Have you ever watched a horror movie with vampires? Not sexy vampires for middle aged dumpy wine aunts to masturbate to, but actual lore accurate vampires? The kind of movie where your grandfather is scratching at the window asking why you won't let him in, but there's something wrong with his eyes and the tone of his voice, and either that's not him, or worse yet, maybe it is him, but with everything that made him love you stripped away and replaced by insatiable hunger? The main character is never stupid enough to let him in, is he? It's always grandma. About halfway through the movie. And she's always the first to die, slaughtered the moment she opens that window, but almost everyone else sheltering in the house quickly, follows, leaving the protagonist and his scantily-dressed girlfriend to flee across the moors at night, pursued by the blood-hungry corpses of everyone else they ever loved. You've seen that movie, right? Well, I feel like I'm in that movie. It's not that I hate grandma. She's nice. Loves people. Bakes cookies. But she keeps trying to open the goddamned window. Every time I point out that some institution of our former society is being worn as a skinsuit by corrupt self-interest masquerading as socialism masquerading as compassion, there's always those guys who are shocked and betrayed that I attacked their beloved thing. No. Your beloved thing is gone. It doesn't matter what it did for you 30 years ago. It's not 30 years ago now. The soul of your beloved thing was eaten by a monster, and now it has become a monster itself. It doesn't matter whether I'm talking about the Catholic church, Christianity in general, the Republican party, the American Medical Association, the NRA, Disney, whatever. It's always the same. There's always the guy who is shocked, angry, and betrayed, because we're both supposed to be "right-wing", and here I am, attacking his beloved grandpa. I must be an evil nihilist straight from the bowels of reddit. But I am not trying to rob you. I am trying to help you. That is not your grandpa. That is a vampire. What's almost worse is that there are some guys who do, eventually, understand. After they yell at me a bit and call me a grandpa-hater or something. But the first thing they say, when they figure it out is... "Can't we save the skinsuit?" They're still hoping, on some level, that grandpa is still there. That there's a cure. That they can have their beloved institutions and traditions back. Well, I'm not hopeful. I mean, I can't say for sure whether they can or can't, but that's not important. That's the wrong question. We can't worry about saving Grandpa right now, because we have to save ourselves first. We have to survive the night. And if you're not willing to stake Grandpa through the heart for that, or, worse yet, if you try to stop the rest of us, yelling "Grandpa! Noooooooo!", grabbing at someone's wrist as he's trying to raise the big wooden mallet, then... Well, then you're not an enemy, but you are a liability. And so we have to put you in the back seat. We can't stop attacking Vampire Grandpa to spare your feelings. The hour is too late for us to listen to friends who can't tell the difference between us and the enemy.

I think we can agree the issue is internationalist leftism. Reactionary right-wing stuff can be an issue too, but they're exactly that. Can we make a pact to destroy the Communists and their ilk, together?

it hasn't sunk in for most people. we already live in a post-scarcity society. UBI is already here. basic package: disability, medicaid, food stamps etc bonus package: literally getting paid for staying at home and hanging out with your relatives extra bonus: if you are willing to commit fraud, pretend your kids are autistic and get paid for that. get paid for watching your neighbor's kid. pretend you are taking care of your grandma. fake hospice clinic. fake rehab clinic. fake therapy clinic. giga bonus: during a time of crisis take advantage of PPP or CARES and open a fake business and get paid for existing people are shocked when they learn that defense is the FIFTH largest line item in the budget. ahead of defense: social security ($1.6T), interest on debt ($1.1T) medicare ($1T), medicaid + ACA ($1T), AND THEN defense ($0.9T) complain about defense all you like, but healthcare fraud is a way bigger factor. hundreds of billions per year. this is only going to get worse, because the fraud is a structural part of the system – payouts to client groups in exchange for votes (normally D). in the US, only 47% of the population actually works (fully 14% of the population is working age and does not work). retirees are 18% and children 22%. the system I described above subsidizes 50m non-working people absolute minimum, but really it's far more because people that are paid to stay home and take care of their relatives are considered "workers" of that 47% of "actual workers" maybe one third does real work, the rest are shuffling papers around or doing fake email jobs. so you have, rough math, 50 million actual workers supporting 300 million dependents. that's the nature of the economy today. it will only accelerate. eventually you will have 10 million using AI tools to do all the work and 340 million dependents. the reason no one roots out the fraud is because it's the system that keeps our extremely fragile polity intact. the fraud is the UBI. the purpose of the system is what it does. of course, it's a deeply unfair system, because you are allowed to commit fraud if you are a politically protected client group of the democrats. DOGE was killed faster than any government program ever, because it attempted to root out the fraud. if you are honest and unwilling to commit fraud, you are a huge loser in this system. your neighbor will have their mortgage subsidized by some government program. they will get favorable SBA loans due to DEI. they will open a fake hospice or autism clinic. they will get paid for taking care of their neighbor's kid and vice versa. the primary skill in the labor market is learning how to extract money from state and federal government programs, not gaining skills or making yourself employable. if you are just trying to work an ordinary wagie job you are a huge sucker. you are paying 40-50% effective all in taxes to everyone else who is a net taker. the sad part is because AI is such a substantial productivity boost, it will actually keep this system going for a while longer, and maybe in perpetuity. AI boosts the 15% of the population that is actually productive so much that the remaining 85% can coast by. no one in charge will change this because they can't think of anything else. the political costs of a real UBI program are too great and we don't have the money for it anyway. so we will keep this covert fraud-based UBI program running indefinitely. unfortunately, if you are an honest wagie, you lose.

You don’t understand. I’ve watched a ton of congressional defense hearings. In EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. the Admirals and Generals say “we are only strong because of our allies.” At first I believed it. Then I started attending defense conferences overseas. I watched U.S. GOFOs get treated like royalty. Five-star hotels. Wined and dined. Told how great they are for “being such great allies.” The pattern became obvious. Europeans spend lavishly on ego-boosting, awards dinners, and fine wine… and in exchange, every GOFO goes home and tells Congress how indispensable our allies are. And our “allies” save a fortune on defense. Then a buddy got a job at European Command and confirmed everything—except it wasn’t just GOFOs. There are entire departments of people working in “intelligence” who are basically travel agents for generals and members of Congress. Then I started digging into the UN. Guess what? They hold a massive number of “security” conferences too—except most of theirs are in straight-up resort towns. Then I got inside a few think tanks. You want to see posh surroundings and excellent wine and food? Buddy up with them. I started posting about all this a few years ago and got MASSIVE pushback—which I knew meant I was on the right track. But I still wasn’t 100% sure. Most of it was grift, but maybe some parts were essential… until Midnight Hammer. Then Maduro. Now this. My European friends were totally blindsided by all of it. And guess what? We performed better without these great “allies.” Why? Going all the way back to Korea, one thing has remained true: Europeans don’t fully trust us—and they like having a little power over us. So they are absolute sticklers for Rules of Engagement. They wine and dine our JAGs. They hold endless conferences about “the rule of law” to reinforce the “importance of ROEs.” And ROEs are what kills our military. Nobody is suggesting soldiers should do anything immoral. Nobody is saying there shouldn’t be consequences for atrocities. What I am saying is that having a battalion of JAGs and a dozen allied nations—each with their own ROEs—breathing down every commander’s neck is why we lose wars. That includes Vietnam, where most “allies” refused to fight but every one of them put serious diplomatic pressure on DC to tighten ROEs. All of this “allies are our strength” dogma gets reinforced at these conferences, at war colleges, by European-influenced media, and through think tanks. The reason we’re suddenly so effective is because @PeteHegseth has cut all this out. Our allies are flying blind. They can’t throw up a million legal objections because they don’t know the details behind these missions any sooner than we do. Just look at Starmer’s body language. He’s clueless. And it’s not just our allies that no longer get to micromanage everything but media and UN diplomats and think tanks and bureaucrats and more. Now if we could just cut Congress off from this “allies are great” grift, we could probably start passing legislation too. P.S. I see no signs of Hegseth or DoW weakening our allies or alliances. They genuinely seem to want Europe to be stronger. They just aren’t asking permission anymore or giving allies veto power over everything like before.

I am horrified. I cannot believe it. I analyzed public databases and media reporting on violent confrontations with ICE over the past year. Just 9 counties accounted for TWO-THIRDS of violent confrontations with ICE in America. This is twice all violent confrontations in the remaining 3,134 counties COMBINED. A violent confrontation in these 9 counties was 590 TIMES more likely than any of these other 3,134 counties. 590 times. I plotted these 9 counties, and I found that all 9 counties are sanctuary jurisdictions run by Democrat politicians that resist immigration law enforcement. These violent confrontations are RARE in states and cities where local officials cooperate with law enforcement.

🚨 BREAKING: MINNEAPOLIS MOB THREATENS TO KILL O’KEEFE — ICE BOTTLES THROWN, FOLLOWED, AND OMG TEAM UNDER ATTACK. My team and I are in downtown Minneapolis right now. We still have undercover reporters inside the mob. I was at the scene of the shooting this morning and barely made it out alive. Hundreds surrounded us. They were throwing ice bottles, ripping off my bulletproof vest. They even followed us all the way back to our hotel. As all of this was happening, we received death threats via text. Pray for our team out in the field. We are reaching a boiling point in this country.

Buddy of mine had PTSD after the GWOT Smart, brave, but just came back to a world where people were disconnected from reality It wasn't really about what he saw or experienced, though plenty of that was horrific, it was that he saw how the world really works Stakes were high, failure meant death, the day to day was existential, everyone understood the realities of violence and power Moving from that to a US which was in the middle of a woke revolution was jarring, hyper-feminine cultures dominated by trans pronouns and safe spaces It wasn't that explosions, blood, or death haunted him, it's that everyone else seemed to be living in this completely delusional childish bubble and they expected a guy who had spent a decade knee-deep in reality to play along He eventually figured out how to keep his mouth shut though he still generally views the people around him as some mixture of childish and insane Obviously he is dealing with something more real than I will in that area, but it's hard not to view mainstream conservatives the same way They have this childish narrative about power, and no matter how clear it's made to them that their narrative is utterly disconnected from reality they insist that their fantasy land is the way power is supposed to work But it doesn't, it never did, and it never will That story was fed to them to make them passive and easy to rule, but they cling to it like it's their birthright, their version of "there are 207 genders" Everyday something like Charlie Kirk's shooting or the storming of a church will snap a few more conservatives out of their fantasy and into reality You can see the moment it happens because like crabs in a bucket mainstream conservates swarm them, demanding that they forget what they have seen and return to talking about small government, military deployments, and tax cuts But the problem was never my friend who saw how the world really worked in the GWOT, it was always the people who demanded that he forget that and return to the bubble of fake performative nonsense The problem is not the people who see where the left is inevitably taking us, the problem is those that demand we close our eyes real tight, grasp our pocket constitutions, and think of MLK Jr. while our churches burn

Pause for a moment and notice something.. Look at this video from the perspective of “layers” Layer 1: you have frontline agitators who physically encroach but do nothing else aside from yell & hurl vulgarity Layer 2: Behind layer1 you have those I call grapplers. They will swoop in and shove or pull on an agent then fall back behind layer1. Layer 3: Noise & light obstructionists. They blow whistles, bullhorns, honk car horns, beat on drums or trash can lids.. maximum auditory infusion to make a scene appear to be chaotic. To appear to be out of control Layer 4: The “press people”. These people have vests on and press badges but are not members of any press corps. They immediately move to capture images and video of any action by agents. They are constantly taking pictures of agents faces. Every image is scoured later for any and all ways to doxx or publicly ID law enforcement for obvious reasons Every bit of this is optics. Every bit of this is rehearsed & practiced. These people have training. These videos are a production so they can frame law enforcement with selectively edited video with one goal in mind… one end-state objective: To erode public support of Operarion At Large They need sound bites & slick video clips to run on the evening news cycle (the MSM are their allies in this end-state objective) That’s what this is all about It’s a play straight out of the psychological operations manual being used against law enforcement by a communist insurgency They have training. They have funding. They have singular purpose. This is an insurgency

So. Best the Democrats and their flying media monkeys could do from the latest tranche of "Epstein files" is an image of adult women from a beauty contest in Hawaii with their faces blacked out by deceptive editing 31 years after the fact. I'm not Trump's biggest fan, but crap like this makes it very difficult not to take his side. They've got nothing. If they had any evidence of Trump messing with underage girls it would have come out as part of the lawfare blitz during the Biden years. This attempt to keep those charges alive is pathetic, and makes Trump look like a persecuted hero. Somehow I don't think that's the outcome they wanted.
