@OmegaSuperHuman Freeza can’t be a retcon becuase we knew nothing about outer space. We did know why Freeza destroyed the Sayians. Beerus was in no way a factor in the original reason on why the Sayians were destroyed becuase he didn’t exist.

@otakunathanime Like dude, he has to make weekly content for a magazine for years and years as his job. Not predicting his own plot and adding one peice of consistent storytelling in a form of dialogue is not a retcon. And every manga author has done that in some form if they're popular

@otakunathanime To be honest with you, it makes more sense after they introduced beerus that frieza would have to go through a god before doing his job for him. Frieza doesn't blow up planets for fun, he sells them. Frieza was still the reason the planet was destroyed

@otakunathanime What? Beerus gave him an okay not a direct order. You think one day he randomly decided "ah, I'll destroy the planet on this wednesday". That day was when he was permitted to destroy the planet (because beerus knew frieza had power over them) and frieza happily took him up on it
