I spent a lot of today with Adrienne Hill's family at the @filmisfabulous DMP event and I can report that they LOVED seeing the recovered episodes - of course!

Just WOW! The thing that really shines through in these episodes is the Direction of Douglas Camfield. Every shot is crafted so meticulously. These feel like era defining episodes. Adrienne Hill gets to shine properly. Thank you @filmisfabulous

@ElizaH64344 A surprisingly low key start, with the flippant moments in Central Control or whatever it's called. But yes, dripping with atmosphere and you can sense the stakes are high.

The Nightmare Begins - Just perfect, top-tier Doctor Who. Tension, drama, some glorious shots (the first appearance of the Dalek!) and a cast giving it their all. It’s everything I love about Doctor Who in 23 glorious minutes! Quick tea break, then it’s The Devil’s Planet ❤️
