Messi or Mbappe deserved the Golden Ball.
However, after Messi’s disappearing act in the final, the Golden Ball should have been awarded to Mbappe. Like Forlan in 2010.
Rodri had a fantastic tournament. But there is no way on earth Rodri deserved it ahead of those two.
