However, eight months ago I went through a terrible breakup and lost my job. This led to a deep depression and I simply stopped taking my medication. I just didn’t care anymore. Last week I started feeling very weak and developed a persistent cough. I know I need to return to the clinic but I’m terrified. I’m worried the nurses will scold me for stopping and I’m also concerned I’ve developed resistance, as you always warn about. I feel like a failure because I knew better but I gave up.
