Continuing the employment news, we are thrilled to report that beneficiary Matt Arnold has started the role of Assistant Greenkeeper at the prestigious Wentworth Golf Club. Matt is now the second member of the team, joining fellow beneficiary and Head Mechanic, Dave Hughes.

We are delighted to share the news that beneficiary Chris Platts has recently started in the role of Secretary at Tankersley Park Golf Club, near Sheffield. Congratulations Chris - we hope that you're settling in well.

Despite the bad weather, we are continuing to offer on-going engagement opportunities to our beneficiaries through a mix of skills days and evening range sessions. So far, 41 beneficiaries have attended over the course of five events in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

A big thank you to @pxg for hosting some of our beneficiaries last week in London for a day of insight, equipment testing and fun competition. We also really appreciate the great prizes donated, including the balls and the driver. 👊

After successful pilot events over the past couple of years, we are delighted to be supported by @Sport_England to deliver an expanded programme of Beginner Golf Skills Courses for wounded veterans. A grant of £7,893 has been awarded from their 'Movement Fund'. Thank you. 👊

We are thrilled to have the on-going support of the @ArmyBenFund, who recently awarded us a grant of £9,134 to support the expansion of our programme in Northern Ireland. We started our activities here in 2022 and now deliver eight activities to a pool of 35 beneficiaries.

Ten beneficiaries were part of another memorable week @GOLFMENORCA. The hospitality that we received from the golf club (especially Paola), and @AndMenorca (especially Adrian) was incredible. We can't wait to come back next year. Thank you to @TeamForcesUK for supporting.

Yesterday, our beneficiaries attended our annual Remembrance Day @TrumpTurnberry. Despite the weather, it was another thoroughly enjoyable day. A huge thank you to our hosts for their continuing support. Lest We Forget. 🫡

The @VeteransFdn have done it again, awarding a grant of £19,140 to support the delivery costs of our programme of confidence building activities in Scotland and Northern Ireland. A heartfelt thank you once again. ❤️ Driving Veterans Futures Through Golf
