Ashton On Mersey Village Always in Bloom

It is with great pride that we announce the Ashton on Mersey Village ‘Platinum Jubilee Street Party’ on Thursday 2nd June. It’s going to be a day of fun, community coming together again and much much more with live music, local stalls & great food.Please share & invite everyone

🎄🎄Ho Ho Ho 🎄🎄Christmas Is coming and so are the trees🎅 Trees will be in Ashton On Mersey village for sale from Friday 26th November at the side of Age UK. Phil and Kieran will be ready to greet you with their festive cheer🎅⛄️Trees can be delivered locally free of charge.

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers that were able to help today with the start of the village clear up ready for the autumn 🍁🍂planting. The litter pick, brushing of the leaves etc, and plant clearing of the troughs has all been completed with a lot of fun and laughter 🍃

Our latest addition to ‘In Bloom’, a lovely wishing well which has been painted and planted for us all to enjoy xx🌻🐞🐝🌼🌺🌸

This morning has seen the arrival of the hanging baskets in our beautiful village🌻🌼🌺🌸🐝🐞 We cannot wait to watch them all blossom xx

A huge thank you to The Old Plough for kindly donating the troughs from the beer garden to our wonderful village. The troughs have gone off for a spruce up and will be back in the village next year ready to be planted.🌸🌼🌻🌺🌹🌷

We will be meeting this Sunday 15th March at 9am to start and clean and clear the planters ready for this years in bloom. Everybody is welcome, it would great to see you there. Please bring a brush, trowel and some gloves 🌻🌸🌷🌼😁

We have come out of hibernation, the fun, kindness and generosity has begun! A huge thank you to Diane from Blue Buttons for your generous donation of Union Jack fabric so that we can make the bunting for the huge community event on 11th July.
