🇺🇸🇮🇷 I genuinely don’t get why American soldiers aren’t collectively telling their superiors to go fuck themselves at this point. It’s painfully obvious this isn’t what they signed up for. This isn’t defending America. It’s being cannon fodder for pointless self-inflicted wars that Washington keeps starting, including the slaughter of schoolgirls. They should be refusing orders, walking out, and ditching the uniform in droves. Yeah, you might catch a dishonorable discharge that fucks your entire future, lose every single Veterans Affairs benefit, and take a massive financial hit with lost pay, repaid bonuses, and no separation money. But honestly? Dealing with that shit is still a thousand times better than the very real chance of coming home in a body bag from some desert shithole for absolutely nothing. Wake the hell up, soldiers. Your life is worth more than this endless neocon suicide mission. The alternative isn’t sunshine and rainbows, but a very real chance of coming home in a body bag from some far away country for absolutely nothing.

@academic_la @harleydude_iain Those were short term “incursions” against incredibly weak adversaries. Any place with the ability to stand up to the US has outlasted the US — N Korea, Vietnam, Nicaragua, Afghanistan, and now Iran.

The US is on the verge of stopping the war with Iran without any achievements. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Trump is willing to end the U.S. military campaign against Iran even if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. This is because the political bleeding and the price of oil are too much for Trump to continue to withstand. What this means: 1) Trump and his aides concluded that forcing the strait open would take longer than his 4–6 week timeline, so the plan is to wind down hostilities after degrading Iran's navy and missile capabilities. 2) The plan is then to push diplomatically for free passage and if that fails, lean on European and Gulf allies to lead the reopening effort. 3) Iran would then likely demand that Israel stop bombing before they agree to open. That shouldn't be a massive problem, since Israel is running out of targets there anyway. 4) Iran received a lot of money from oil and a lot of new weapons and technology. They will use that to rebuild their regional power. 5) It appears very likely that Iran is going to pursue a nuclear weapons seriously for the first time, instead of pursuing the goal of being a threshold state. 6) The United States will lose a lot of its influence in the Gulf and the Middle East due to this disaster. That will pave the path to Chinese domination in the region. The US appears ready to conceded a historic defeat in the Gulf. American power will never be the same.

I'm convinced Donald Trump is a top 10 character in the history of civilization. People will be studying the mass psychosis that allowed this obviously pathetic person to control so many people for generations to come. They'll never really be able to come up with 1 clean answer.

Idk if my it’s just my algorithm but I’m seeing a bunch of MAGA claiming they suddenly regret their votes. Let me be clear, you elected someone that publicly bragged about sexually assaulting women without consent and had almost 30 assault victims, including children, BEFORE he ran in 2016. You have no integrity, you’re selfish fucks that only care now because gas and food prices are skyrocketing while he’s bombing elementary schools in Iran. Go fuck yourself.

@chadtrojanfan Exactly right! Now they cry about the war we said he’d start? They are also crying about the prices we said we’re gonna skyrocket. If only they had an education or fucking listen to experts

what’s the best, grand unified theory on why Republicans seem totally OK with losing the House and possibly the Senate in the 2026 midterms, getting their POTUS impeached, and probably losing the next presidential election in 2028?

@radiohead68 @j_martin24 @primarily_prog Are you serious? How do you define a “popular” song? I can think of 10 DP songs right off the bat that got huge FM radio airplay. And Smoke on the Water is more “popular” than anything The Who did.

@primarily_prog I think Glover is very underrated. Moon was all flash and not much substance. Paice has incredible skills and technique. Townshend was a decent songwriter and as a guitarist, doesn’t match up to Blackmore.

@OnPointNews All very subjective but … Entwistle was one of the finest bass players ever to have graced a recording studio. He’d wipe the floor with Roger Glover. And I’d take Moon over Paice any day (most would, I think).

Mi padre decidió no someterse a tratamiento. Dijo: «No voy a pasar mis últimos meses envenenándome.

@Kriegler007 By far De Palma’s best. He showed some restraint and didn’t give in to his usual show off tendencies. Plus, he had Pacino, Penn and a great script.

Who’s Wrong Here posted this I was at Trader Joe's yesterday when this woman in see-through yoga pants—literally sheer black Lululemons where I could see her underwear line—bent over to grab almond milk from the bottom shelf. I looked. Obviously. I'm a straight man with functioning eyes, and she had the kind of gym-sculpted physique that clearly took years of work. I wasn't drooling. I didn't catcall. I just... looked. A normal, appreciative glance. She caught me, rolled her eyes so hard I thought they'd fall out, and then loudly told her friend "some creeps just can't help themselves." CREEP? I'm a creep now because I noticed your entire bare ass outline that you decided to showcase in the dairy aisle at 2pm on a Tuesday? You aren't at Pilates. You aren't running errands post-workout with messy hair and a sweaty tee. You're wearing $120 compression pants that lift, separate, and highlight every dimple of your glutes, paired with a crop top that shows off your abs, full face of makeup, hair styled, clearly going for maximum aesthetic impact... and then you act VICTIMIZED when men notice? Let's be real. If I had Arnold's 20-year-old physique—12-pack, vascular arms, the works—and I walked around shirtless in public, women would stare. They'd take photos. They'd comment. And you know what? I wouldn't cry about being "objectified" or write Twitter threads about how "men are visual creatures but I have a personality too." I'd understand that when you put premium goods on display, people window shop. That's not harassment—that's biology. The same women screaming "we aren't sex objects" on social media are the ones posting thirst traps in gym locker rooms, arching their backs for the algorithm, wearing tops so low-cut I can see their birthstone. You don't get to weaponize your body for attention—likes, free drinks, validation—and then switch to "innocent victim mode" when a guy at the grocery store clocks your outfit choice. Either cover up or own the fact that you're fishing for looks. Don't cast the bait and then act shocked when the fish bite. Am I wrong for thinking that if you dress like you're auditioning for a fitness influencer sponsorship while buying kale, you forfeit the right to clutch your pearls when people notice? Am I wrong for being tired of this game where women sexualize themselves for profit and power, then demonize men for responding exactly how nature designed us to respond?

God. It is sin to be anxious or depressed. Anxiety is a lack of faith that the Lord will not provide for you. Depression is a lack of faith that the Lord has a plan for you. You may not be in a place in your life where you feel that you belong, but nothing in life is permanent; the only requirement is to keep moving forward.

I’m a Republican. I supported Trump. I raised money for him, I voted for him. I donated $60,000 to his campaign. Trump lied. He rugpulled us all. I didn’t vote for Lindsey Graham / America Second policies. You can disagree with me if you want. It’s your right to be fooled. But if you say I have “TDS” or am a “liberal” you need a new argument. There are millions of conservatives and members of the now torched “broad coalition” just like me. The only ones left supporting him are MAGA always Trumpers who place the man above the policies and our country.
