@NickAdamsinUSA Star athlete yet couldn’t / wouldn’t serve his country on medical fitness grounds? 👀🤷🏼♂️
English

@whitford747 Sorry but what the feck does an Ex captain in the parachute regiment’ know re senior Staff Level appointments in a completely different service!? Your entire profile screams insecure tool who never had an identity beyond service… oh, and get a proper barber you look like Cadfael
English

@jfwduffield The constant stream of people who are only there to ‘be seen’ leaving mid game to go and get their 5th or 6th beer, the braying idiots who turn up late, who talk through anthems, or who applaud and leave after the last post at the Fiji game. If that’s worth it…. then fine.
English

@jfwduffield This isn’t about kids going tho?! The expense of a day trip to London on top of ticket prices prices out huge swathes of the rugby-playing / engaged population!? The ticket market is driven by the game and the commercials sadly, not the market itself. The atmosphere is appalling
English

@jfwduffield That phrase ‘far better to sell them…’ etc is the literal problem with the RFU for the last 15 years, is the same argument for maintaining the public school system of talent. It’s so flipping short-termist.
English

@OneKneeSteve Then the revenue would be lost. Far better to sell them on the open market at the market price. International rugby is a luxury product which funds the rest of the game. You an go & watch your local Championship or National 1 club for £20.
English

@jfwduffield So you agree that the atmosphere (or complete absence of), at HQ is worth it? You think the braying toffs in the Barbour and brogue uniform, the horsey Cheltenham Ladis types who barely watch a minute, are what Twickenham needs? Is it ANY wonder the place is dead these days?
English

@jfwduffield Or just increase the protected ticket allocation to RFU clubs and set cheaper prices for them than open market rates. That might also encourage people to develop social membership ties / affiliation to their local clubs, which can only increase participation at grassroots level.
English

@OneKneeSteve It is the market. If the tickets were cheaper the revenue would just be lost to ticket touts on the black market.

I’ll be speaking to @TomSwarbrick1 6pm about @Merlin_HR decision to withdraw ride access passes to autistic visitors. Autism is an invisible disability & campaigners like me & orgs like @AmbitiousAutism & @Autism have fought hard to increase awareness & decrease stigma. We fight on

English

@MerlinapUK I guess this only works if your family members aren’t Neurodivergent!?

English

@WilliamWolfe So you just don’t like the teachings of Christ then!? You’re just an Old Testament guy? Cos… you DO know he’s absolutely despise you?
English

@LaurenWitzkeDE @TheBrancaShow Christ is King huh? You DO know Jesus would utterly despise your views? Or are you strictly Old Testament…
English

@SeanBaker Are you genuinely this mince? Clear proof that ‘being a veteran’ doesn’t mean that you have reason or critical thinking skills 😆😆😆 he’s literally only posted this as a backtrack. He has routinely denigrated and maligned veterans in unguarded moments.
English

@OfAthenry @Andymb28 Can’t shoot, can’t plan, don’t know how to do basic soldiering… honestly, brave guys and lovely lads to be around but Christ, their arrogance and lack of training accounted for some serious bodycount getting flown back home.
English

@OfAthenry @Andymb28 Okay, so let’s talk straight facts. In the summer and winter of 2010, the USMC came into Sangin. I believe it was 3/5 and 3/7 who rip’d in. They lost so many casualties because they REFUSED to learn the basics of countering the IED threat. Real basic stuff.
English

@OfAthenry @Andymb28 Finally, they would routinely get smoked by IED’s in the Sangin Wadi. A mine roller would detonate a device, which the TB started setting in front of devices so they’d detonate under the vehicle. Instead of clearing a safe path, they’d drive up next to it… BOOM! Again, BASICS.
English

@OfAthenry @Andymb28 They decided they didn’t want Wishtan, a notorious hot spot. Fine, we blew up the fob and left. A few months later they decided WOOPS, we need to go in as it’s vital ground that needs holding… so instead of working with the populace, they demolish and blow up the place. Morons.
