Twitch calling this “monetisation for everyone” is wild. Until you hit Affiliate, viewers can give you money, but you can’t cash it out. You can only spend it back on Twitch, where they take another cut. So a £4.99 sub ends up being roughly £1.25 of actual value to the creator.

Should platforms that people rely on for income allow exceptions to their TOS for top-earning creators, or should the rules be enforced equally no matter how big the creator is? Thoughts?

@JoeyNGaming That would make sense! Like, its understandable that i business will chance a bit of leniency for their biggest earners, within reason. But it should be stated that it can happen and fairness is implimented as much as possible? idk, its such a weird one
