@TwinklSLT @RockKidzUK I loved playing music with my year 10/11s as they always thought they had discovered some cool retro band and it turns out it was all the stuff I grew up with...! It's SO useful for forming those vital relationships. #TheLeadersTeam

@TwinklSLT Agree with @pennywpennyw - very tricky! They come hand in hand. No point in doing CPD if you don't implement and evaluate over time... #TheLeadersTeam

@JurdNeil @PupilMagazines @TwinklSLT Absolutely and all the more reason leaders desperately need their wellbeing to be cared for and actively protect themselves too... especially if someone has to put more effort into being that leader their staff need, burnout will come more easily, I'd imagine. #TheLeadersTeam

@PupilMagazines @JurdNeil @TwinklSLT I was about to ask this very question! For those who are reading who perhaps haven't come from a place of nurture and encouragement - can they use this to their advantage? #TheLeadersTeam

@JurdNeil @TwinklSLT Do you sometimes find this can work as a positive, e.g. I have worked under x type of leader and it felt awful, I'm going to be y type of leader so my team feel valued?

@PupilMagazines @TwinklSLT I suppose on the flip side, it's possibly to consistently be something negative... so consistent honesty, integrity, direction, humility... The right kind of consistency is definitely a must! #TheLeadersTeam

@OneStepCPD @TwinklSLT Absolutely! I was really torn between consistency and honestly - I went with consistency (because I was forced to pick one) but glad to see that honesty was up there. Can you be consistent without being honest - assuming your doing a good job?
