You cannot build an extraordinary life while being emotionally controlled by everybody’s expectations. 5. I started taking small scary actions consistently. Not giant actions. Small ones. Posting online. Speaking up more. Trying new things. Starting conversations. Sharing ideas. Confidence grows from evidence. Every small action tells your brain: “Maybe I can actually do this.” 6. I stopped seeing failure as shame. This one took time. Many of us were raised to fear mistakes so much that we never even try. But failure is not always destruction. Sometimes failure is training. Sometimes it is redirection. Sometimes it is simply part of becoming stronger. The people changing their lives are not people who never failed. They are people who refused to stop after failing.. 7. I had to let him go😒 I blocked my electricians number today after working for me for over 3years. Because I have a way of being familiar with people who work for me or with me, I don’t see it as a big deal. After a while,he started to take it for granted. The guy is one of the best Electricians that has ever worked for me . He studied Electrical Engineer and is a graduate , he is really good at his job,he does his job excellently well. Infact, Exellent is an understatement but, he suddenly started taking me for granted. On 4 occasions I would want him to do some jobs for me, send money to him, he will take like two or three days before he shows up,Infact there was a period he took the money and went away for 2weeks. He came back and apologized after numerous calls, not that he is running o, no far from it, he takes the money then goes ahead to do other jobs,then comes to do mine when he likes. One day, I told him, the best way to work with me is to speak the truth, tell me exactly when you will be free and keep to it, don’t dribble me. He agreed!! but same thing happened one more time, I forgave. Yesterday, I called him to buy something and come and install it,I made payment for the materials for part of the workmanship. I asked him , hope you will be here by 9:00 as agreed? He nooded like Agama lizard as usual. I said , don’t play with me again oo, I am serious , I won’t go to the gym so come early,he opened his teeth like he was throwing a farewell party and said, “Trust me this time” By 9:00 am, I called, he said he was buying the stuff…. By 12:00 am he was no where to be found, I called endlessly. He picked, and echoes “no vex oo chai, I am at your estate gate, I am eating” I smiled, I knew I was done with him. He later showed up when I was driving out to pick my kids by 2:00 pm,I didn’t say a word to him(waste of anger). Once I was back picking my girls , I blocked him everywhere while he kept saying “Asa Abeg no vex and fixing the stuff”. I have paid him his complete money, I will never call him for anything again. He ended up opening a hole in my bathroom to pass the wire, part of the reason I wanted to be around cos I wanted to decide which place he can bore a hole. It hurts to let him go, that dude is extremely good at his job,but never again. People treat you how you teach them to treat you.. No value for my time, means you don’t have regard for what I do. I have my peace , that’s what matters. Another electrician will find me or we find each other.

2011 Started working at chicken republic as a cashier in lagos . 2012 worked as a nanny in lagos island as a graduate. 2013 worked as a travel consultant in Ikeja. 2014 started a business that failed . 2016 started mini-importation business, failed again. 2017 joined the banking sector with 55k salary. 2018 started Silver extraction business,succeeded 2019 quit everything to fully focus on crypto . 2022 bought my first house and car in crypto. 2023 I and my business partners lost $500k to a Chinese business partner who was a scammer . (Case still in court in US till date ) 2024 i became suicidal, got divorced and was down to zero but still showing up with fake smiles . Somehow , I bounced back . 2025 Q1 lost 80% of my portfolio again to forex, almost lost my mind , became a walking shadow , but still showing up. Dec 2025 bounced back like never before , it felt like magic but I know it was God, it couldn’t have been me.
