Becoming entirely part of the worlds he portrayed — through research, discipline, and lived detail. Similarly, his own life evolved and transformed. An injury changed his direction early on. Are you a young leader committed to ending conflict? @RegentGroup and One Young World have come together to launch The Pankaj Award to End Conflict - a $250,000 fund dedicated to celebrating and backing young leaders who are building peace in their countries and communities. 👏Founded by Professor Selva Pankaj and Dr Tharshiny Pankaj, who arrived in the UK as teenage refugees fleeing the Sri Lankan Civil War, Regent Global brings over 25 years of educational innovation and a deeply personal commitment to this cause. We are honoured to announce that Vladimir Kara-Murza and Evgenia Kara-Murza will join the One Young World Summit Cape Town, 2026, as Counsellors! 🇿🇦 A leading Russian opposition figure, Vladimir has advanced international sanctions against Kremlin officials. After speaking out against Russia's invasion of Ukraine, he was sentenced to 25 years in prison. During his imprisonment, Evgenia led international advocacy for his case and for political prisoners across Russia, sustaining global attention on these issues.
