60 people including some campaign staff is sad. (Someone in the room counted.) Greater Vernon area has a population of 73,000 people. Dallas Brodie got 70 on Lasqueti island (population 480) at noon on a Friday when many people were on Vancouver Island for their day jobs.

OneBC is rising! Mainstreet Research put OneBC at around 8% back in December but 3 months later they neglected to name our party in their latest BC poll. And unsurprisingly the "Another Party" option polled at 13%, 2% ahead of the BC Greens at 11%. Now let's not be pedantic here, OneBC is the only other serious party outside of the main 3 Centre and Left-wing parties. OneBC has had massive town halls in every city, town, or island we have visited, and 13% in a poll would reflect the support we are receiving online and in person. Join us: 1bc.ca

I wonder who "Other" is in this poll? Mainstreet had us at 8% in December when they did list us by name. "Other" at 13% (which is likely 80-90% OneBC voters) backs up a lot of the other growth vectors we are currently experiencing. Dallas Brodie can pack in a crowd no matter where she goes in British Columbia and it was inevitably going to translate to the polls.

I had a lot of fun visiting Lasqueti with Dallas Brodie and the OneBC team. OneBC is winning ground in British Columbia because we actually show up no matter the size of the community. We had a bigger event on Lasqueti (pop. 480) than Caroline Elliott had in Vancouver the other day. Now that’s embarrassing. 70 on Lasqueti for Brodie vs 50 in Vancouver for Elliott. 🥲
