@oldyzach Phoenix point was a lot more gritty but it doesn't, in my opinion, work that well either with contemporary graphics. The game was okay but also nothing special, X-Com would need to be tackled by a very competent team and I am not sure the time for this is now.

I can't decide which I want more 🤔 On the one hand, I dream that the new XCOM (sometime in the future?) would be dark, serious, and as realistic as possible - not colorful and comic style like the last two. On the other hand, I'd like it to be developed by a small studio as an indie game, retaining the atmosphere and visual style of the first two.

Ganz ehrlich, was ist das bitte für eine Argumentation? „Wir schaffen das Ehegattensplitting ab, damit Frauen mehr arbeiten.“ Als ob Frauen einfach nur zu bequem wären. Vielleicht arbeitet jemand nicht Vollzeit, weil keine Kita da ist, weil Angehörige gepflegt werden oder weil Teilzeit die einzige Möglichkeit ist, Familie und Alltag überhaupt zu stemmen. Und dann kommt die SPD und sagt im Grunde: Arbeite mehr oder du wirst finanziell benachteiligt. Das ist keine Gleichstellung, das ist Druck von oben. Wer wirklich will, dass mehr Frauen arbeiten, schafft erstmal die Voraussetzungen wie Kitaplätze, flexible Jobs und faire Löhne.
