@BesterRobert (2/2) here assessed me before I even moved because I applied before moving to get it started asap expecting years delay like Sussex. But took them a week to get back to me 🤣 moving has been the best decision

@BesterRobert Honestly bar accidentally being caught in the transfer of the Lincolnshire wheelchair service, every service has been incredibly quick here. Even wheelchair in terms of emergency solution til I can be introduced properly. Took me nearly 2 years to get care in Sussex, (1/2)

@BesterRobert Yeah Sussex wheelchair service were not great lol so didn't get them replaced before move. Then had problems in Lincolnshire cos the service was being transferred over to something new just as I moved 🫠 so had to make an emergency request after my broken leg

@Onethatrolls Thank you Georgia. Must have had the tyres on a long while for them to go bald.

@BesterRobert Ta. We deduced that it's wheels being bald that caused it. Cos the brakes work fine, grip the wheel etc. But the chair can still move. So waiting for them to get the right wheels to replace them. My chair couldn't have the plate attached anyway so got this for 12 weeks on loan

@Onethatrolls Glad that you are not limited to one room. 🫂 Good that it is a different chair. Hope your other chair can be fixed, and not give you any more problems transferring to / from it. ♿️

@BesterRobert Luckily wheelchair service gave me another chair with a leg elevation plate so I can transfer (with help) a bit - so I go to bed as normal and living room in day. Sometimes still go on dog walks in it but not each day now, very limited. We call it me being allowed on parole 🤣

@BesterRobert Tbh still don't know if it is fixed cos they stopped scanning 18 months after and told me to just crack on 🤣 but yeah so I fear my knee will take longer than normal too

@Onethatrolls Blimey. Can remember you posting about that in 2022. Hope that it is quicker for your knee.

@BesterRobert Hopefully but unfortunately not a guarantee. My femur in 2022 took over a year to heal properly
