@Craigyrobbo81 @SdohertySean Those two law firms are not honest actors. They are using exaggerated information based on a cynical attempt to destabilise SFC before the first round.

@SdohertySean Not according to the 2 law firms. The only thing we have to prove is that they were there. Clubs are responsible for employees actions so intern/lone wolf irrelevant. Impact on game can’t be proven either way I’m not a law expert though, just taking the articles on face value

And here’s a second legal outline. Game result doesn’t matter; it only has to be proven that they broke rule 127. Intern, only an iPhone, lone wolf all totally irrelevant. Outcome will set future precedent of “whether spying is illegal or just expensive” ai-law.co.uk/spygate-at-the…
Craig Robertson@Craigyrobbo81

Lovely stuff. Good to hear what the genuine legal perspectives and arguments will be on this. Hard to see how anything other than expulsion can be the outcome given wording used around various other cases of “cheating to gain a sporting advantage”. #Boro #SaintsFc #Spygate

@politixintheuk Not without financial incentives to remove patients from their lists. It’s a terrible problem at my Veterans breakfast club who have long standing appeal removed because they are misreading the letter or don’t understand the consequences of not replying.

The government has hit one of its key NHS targets on waiting times, with 65% of patients being treated within 18 weeks, government reported! This is the biggest improvement in NHS waiting times in 16 years, and the first time since November 2021 that more than 65% of patients were seen within 18 weeks. Source: The London Economic

All these Saints fans slating Boro / Boro fans is something else. It’s not an isolated incident, you’ve continued to tarnish a great end to a great season with behaviour off/on the field, in the stands, behind the scenes and the integrity of the game. Embarrassing 🤦🏼‍♀️ #PUSB

A brilliant article from Stewarts, the UK's largest litigation-only law firm, who consider the appropriate sanction to be imposed on Southampton if the club is found guilty of spying. Well worth a read. #Boro | #UTB | #SaintsFC stewartslaw.com/news/spy-games…

Lots of comments from Green Party members/supporters re Andy Burnham and his ‘Blairite background’. I guess for them this is a real stark contrast to Polanski and his lifelong history of socialism and working class struggle 🙄 Get a grip.

@perayahmet Labour told us to get lost . And while Burham is standing on a similar leadership ticket to KS , he will immediately get dragged back to the centre by Labour together. They just hope he is more acceptable face for trickle down economics.

The disciplinary is on Tuesday. The match is on Saturday. This leaves no time to hear an appeal. The decision will have to be final. That’s why there’s little to no chance of EFL booting #SaintsFC out & risking Saints lawyers going after them for £200m losses #boro

*NEW: Bloomberg Saturday read* 💥 MPs loyal to Keir Starmer say Ed Miliband and Wes Streeting both plotted against him throughout the last year, destabilising then destroying the government and plunging Britain into chaos. 💥 Miliband orchestrated Andy Burnham’s plot to become PM from within cabinet. MPs loyal to Starmer accuse Miliband of betrayal. It is being compared to when he stood against his brother for the leadership in 2010. 💥 They say it is immensely frustrating that, rather than focus on their very important jobs and rally together behind the PM at a time of global crisis, Miliband, Burnham and Streeting instead acted for personal gain to advance their own careers. 💥 Allies of Miliband, Burnham and Streeting each argue they were motivated by saving Labour from Starmer’s disastrous leadership and stopping Britain falling to Farage. They say he had become the most unpopular PM in history and there is no way he could have led Labour into the next election. 💥 But some people loyal to Starmer wish he had sacked Streeting and Miliband for their disloyalty when he learned of it last year. Some wanted him to do so at the time. Starmer didn’t, fearing instability. 💥 One senior figure expresses their complete disbelief that Labour is behaving as badly as the Tories after only a fraction of the time, descending into factionalism, regicide and collapse. They say they never thought it was possible. 💥 The left of the party is scathing about Starmer’s legacy. A senior person on the left says that from day one Rachel Reeves was out of her depth as chancellor. They say when the history books are written about the Starmer government it is Reeves who will come off worst. 💥 A source close to Starmer blames Trump as the person singularly responsible for the failure of his premiership. They say from the moment Trump was elected the global crises that followed meant Starmer was never able to focus enough on the domestic priorities of voters. They argue no PM in decades has had to deal with a threat to Britain’s interests like that posed by Trump. They wish Labour had pulled together. 💥 They say if the Democrats had won the election things would have been completely different. Starmer wouldn’t have made what he considers to be his worst ever mistake, appointing Mandelson. It was a Bloomberg News investigation that brought down Mandelson, precipitating a period of crisis for Starmer from which he never recovered. 💥 Some on the Labour right consider Starmer’s capitulation on the welfare vote to be the beginning of the end because it emboldened the soft-left to expand their plots against him and ultimately try to take him out. One says Labour has “100 Liz Trusses” on its backbenches. Investors warn a more left-wing PM will be at the mercy of bond vigilantes. Gilts and the pound slumped on Friday as Burnham’s route to power became clear. 💥 Burnham’s supporters say he will be PM by Labour conference in September. A source of widespread amusement across Labour is that Streeting didn’t have the numbers and blew it, handing the leadership to Burnham and Miliband. Those two want what they call an “orderly transition.” Recent experience of British politics suggests the chances of that are slim. @paulmasonnews 4.5 Billion a year doesn’t even cover the waste used on the Ajax . Starmer just throws money in a vain attempt to win approval. Nobody knows , including the MoD what’s it’s supposed to be spent on as the Defence Secretary can’t make a decision.

This is hugely welcome: defence investment is a force for growth, social cohesion and higher wages - the average defence job pays £57k and union density is high. Let's unashamedly rearm to face down the threat of Russian aggression.
