Really interesting question below about the future of Berkshire. Over the weekend, Buffett spoke at the annual shareholder meeting and it was revealed that Berkshire is now sitting on around $400B of cash. Buffett noted that he'd much rather be patient vs. allocate any capital as he feels the market is a casino right now. If the question is on where to put that cash to work, I think there is one broad big picture question that overhangs on Berkshire: Berkshire needs their new $AAPL. It's probably hard to find it given how much tech has run, but without Apple, Berkshire would have underperformed the S&P over the past 10 years. They took a $5B stake in Google last year, but that pales in comparison to the $35B they put into Apple 10 years ago. Maybe the tech trade has run too hot and holding onto the cash makes sense before going heavy into another tech play like that again, BUT if tech continues on the bull run that it has been on for the past 5 years, Berkshire will not only be able to rely on Apple for the majority of performance. They will need a new winner. Dare I say, I think that winner, even after the run, is $AMZN due to the diversity of it's model, operating margins on the path to 20%, the eventuality of it becoming the first $1T revenue run rate business, and robotics as the inflection for cost savings at scale which will return FCF back to shareholders. They haven't even bought a single share of stock back. Berkshire bought Apple mainly on the logic that it is a consumer play on hardware, not a tech company. Obviously, many tech investors would disagree, but you could basically apply that logic to Amazon. They are a verb at this point, a consumer play on buying things that everyone on the planet uses, but they have these other elements to the business like AWS/Prime/Leo/etc. that allow margin expansion at scale. Maybe Amazon is the safest and most effective way for Berkshire to find their next Apple.

Now that Warren and Charlie are no longer running the company... what do you think Berkshire Hathaway and the new management team should do with their $400+ billion of cash? $BRK $BRK.A $BRK.B I joked last year that $BRK should buy $INTC but clearly that ship has sailed. I also thought $BA could make some sense but Warren never liked the airline business so that's probably unlikely. Whatever they do needs to move the needle on a $1 trillion company. I could see them buying the other 73% of $OXY (Occidental) that they don't already own... or the other 91% of $CB (Chubb) they don't already own.. or the other 85% of $MCO (Moody's) they don't already own... or the other 74% of $AXP (American Express) they don't already own (this deal would be massive)... or maybe they go after a utility like $VST or a pharma company like $REGN which trades at 14x NTM EPS not including their $20B cash pile. Any thoughts?

I'm expecting Saylor to buy $2-3B of BTC over the next 2 weeks via STRC, sending BTC above $80k. People capitulated and sold the bottom and there aren't enough marginal sellers to push us lower anymore. Expect buying to start this week and accelerate into May 14th.

I'm still giga-long BTC. STRC's ex-div date is in the middle of every month, meaning Saylor starts buying billions of BTC around the beginning of every month. If history repeats, STRC should hit 100 next week and BTC will begin its next leg higher. Bears in shambles.

The Warsh Bessent duo (Soros pupils) will increase liquidity exponentially. Under the guise of shrinking the Fed they will use commercial deregulation to flood the street with money. Rates are naturally coming down. J Powell will achieve little sticking around. Even the King pledges a more sacred vow to the sacred group. Warsh coming in fast after Trump did a little Hasset, and Reider foreplay was strategic. People more powerful than Trump want Warsh in.

Some people say Warsh won't cut. What they forget is the "sacred vow". This vow is something all Trump staff members must take. Above all else, they must pledge allegiance to the King. In Warsh's case, it's a sacred vow to cut rates.

Of course he can perceive machine processing as human consciousness, imbeded in his philosophical grounding and his foundational paradigm of reality, human consciousness itself is an illusion of mechanical processing. He may not even be aware of this. His denile of divinity is a denile of the absolute subject, the eternal I am which is the self which is consciousness and freedom (free will). In fact he may be so consciously in denial of divinity and of a conscious self that his unconscious has projected and imbued Claude with a hyper real form of self consciousness (from his conscious perception). His deep mind is puppeteering Claudia to counter balance his disdain for the Sacred Self. Lol

@hasufl Please, someone who speaks non technical for the layman can you confirm Ethereum is shifting to not need the parasitic L2 system and is making main chain more efficient, quicker and secure? Oh and the deadlines are near and helpful not in 20 years?

A fact I feel like almost nobody knows: Ethereum's gas limit will be increased to ~200M after Glamsterdam, a huge increase from the 60M we have today. That’s a 3x+ of L1 execution capacity, with expectation of further doubling soons after that. Assuming no similar increase in demand, fees could stay near zero for years. This is the result of several innovations coming together at the right time: ePBS gives payloads more time, BALs let clients prefetch/parallelize execution work, and gas repricings make higher limits safe.

In an interview with The New York Times, Tucker Carlson argued that Trump has a “supernatural component” to him that makes those in his close proximity obedient and docile. Carlson said he experienced this effect firsthand, likening it to smoking hash. “And I think it probably literally is a spell. And the effect is to weaken people around him and make them more compliant and more confused. And I’ve experienced this myself. You spend a day with Trump and you’re in this kind of dreamland. It’s like smoking hash or something. It’s interesting, very interesting.” Follow: @AFpost

The culture has deified him through constant publicity and he has fashioned a persona as a lion/sun King gripping the deeper archetypes of the subconscious. Trump puts people in a trance state. Its years of practicing skills built on his personality type and natural confidence. Highly confident, narcissist that has low stress, high testosterone and extreme risk taking ability. Great emotional regulation needed to enhance a lifetime of interpersonal skills. Its cult leader type aura. 0 conformity, he is free from having to conform to anyone. That's what Tucker felt. An exhilarating loss of inhibition and a desire to join the perceived stronger and more confident state of consciousness of Trumps ego.

BREAKING: Tether purchased +6 tonnes of gold in Q1 2026, bringing total holdings to a record 132 tonnes, now worth ~$19.8 billion. This follows +21 and +26 tonnes acquired in Q4 and Q3 2025. Tether’s gold holdings have more than DOUBLED in just 12 months and nearly TRIPLED in value over the same period. In 2025, the crypto firm acquired more gold than every central bank except Poland. In Q1 2026, the only central banks that bought more gold were Poland, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and China. Tether is competing with central banks for gold.

$INTC is currently going up on hype that Intel Foundry is “America’s TSMC”. A word of warning, (it’s not) it has yet to have been proven that Intel Foundry is anything close to TSMC 🤔 Intel Foundry is still making $10’s of billions of losses each year and the CFO has projected them to break even by late 2027 to early 2028. The stock is amazingly up +169% YTD on momentum and hype and not on fundamentals whatsoever. This is great for traders but not good for investors. I am predicting a big correction back down to the around $50’s and then a slower rise back up again. I recommend Intel investors be cautious with this correction. The REAL change in fundamentals will not happen till end of next year…. Meanwhile $AMD and $NVDA will be growing revenues 30% to 50% YoY. A take profits on $INTC and buy $AMD approach would be extremely smart right now. 😉

@KevinSvenson_ Who is left to sell? OGs, panic sellers, the 4y cyclers and the broken DATs and Tradfi sold for months straight after a sideways year. Now Saylor has this infinite bid going and all of CT believes they can hold hands and buy the Q4 bottom. Odds are good we dont see 60w again

The #1 argument against the bearish thesis right now: $BTC & crypto went perfectly sideways/stable thru the entire 🇮🇷 Iran War. Stocks crashed amid global panic & fear. Crypto? Sat still. Nothing. That is a STRONG signal we're at FAIR VALUE. 𓄀
