@ShitpostRock2 Axe would make the most sense from a survival and ending perspective. Relatively quiet, sharp, can be easily sharpened. Can also be used to easily fell trees and make more defenses like spikes or build a new home. Shotguns are loud and are only useful with ammo, which is finite.
