I think we might need to advise the Uganda Wildlife Authority to move the animals closer to Entebbe so when the tourists come, they see them and then fly out again. Because what is this?

Petrocity Ntinda is selling fuel at 7000. My mother told me that in my village, fuel is now at 10,000. Nothing like bargaining to get the price down by 100 shillings. UNOC, where are you, in Kenzo's voice.

@MucunguziJackso Wamama are sharp, they often carry a simple pair of shoes for driving, then switch back to their kakondo when stepping out of the car. Ladies are the most careful drivers on our roads & we applaud them for that.

Alex Ndawula Mukonzi "Owe'mpologoma" was my best and favorite presenter and Host dj on @CapitalFMUganda. I remember i used to get glued on Capital every weekday & Saturday for the Dance force to listen to Old and new skool music. He was a legend. Continue to rest in Power, Alex.

In 2022, veteran radio presenter and DJ Alex Ndawula died at Nsambya Hospital at the age of 59, bringing to a close a broadcasting career that helped shape modern FM radio in Uganda. Ndawula was widely regarded as a foundational figure in Uganda’s private radio industry. He began his career at Sanyu FM before joining Capital FM, where he spent more than two decades and became the voice of a generation through programmes such as The Morning Crew and Dance Force. Often described as the “King of the Airwaves,” he was known for his raspy voice, bold on-air personality and deep knowledge of music, which made his weekend mixes especially popular with listeners. Beyond his on-air presence, Ndawula played a key role in the shift from state-controlled broadcasting to a more vibrant, personality-driven commercial radio landscape following the liberalisation of the 1990s. He retired from Capital FM in May 2017 after more than 20 years of service. Born in New York, United States, in 1963, Ndawula moved to Uganda at the age of eight following the death of his father. He attended St. Mary’s College Kisubi, later studied in Nairobi and at Namasagali College, before enrolling at Nakawa Technical Institute, where he pursued marketing.

@ntvuganda @MedVilla11 When I was hosted by @ntvuganda for the first time, they first invited me to a saloon within the studios. I nearly took offence, wondering what they thought about my face! They added some makeup on me, & the first of its kind in my life! I only felt at ease later. Whre did it go?

But who drafted this Sovereignty Bill? Almost everyone agrees that the draftmanship has a problem. Others are defending non-existent clauses in the Bill.

Hon. Kabbyanga Godfrey Baluku
This evening at Sheraton Hotel, I had the honour of attending the 20th Anniversary celebrations of @ntvuganda and delivering the keynote address as State Minister for @MoICT_Ug. I reaffirmed the Government’s unwavering commitment to a free, independent, and vibrant press, while thanking @ntvuganda for being among the pioneers that benefited from the liberalisation of the media sector. Despite the inevitable challenges that come with operating in a dynamic environment, NTV has remained a formidable and responsible player in the fourth estate—delivering quality journalism, balanced reporting, and impactful storytelling that informs and educates the nation. Congratulations once again to the entire NTV family on this remarkable milestone. Keep shining!
