$OSCR OscarHealth just broke out of the downward trend. I missed to buy the $11.20 but the next entry supposed to be $11.90 once it pulls back to the former trend line Momentum is building up. Looks quite good. Volume increased today as well. For a longterm investment I would like to see a re-acceleration in growth and improving margins. Therefore I keep it as a trade within the range.

$OSCR Oscar Health has reached the price target of $11.20 including an overshoot. The price claimed very quickly the $11.20 back. This trading behavior makes me even more certain the stock is a buy at least for a range trade to its old ATH. That's a huge trad with a potential 100% gain. Now we are in a comfortable situation that we can.put a stop loss not that far below the support. To add one more layer of certainty you could wait for the downward trend break out.

My take: The 4d chess move has nothing to do with Trump. He's just the loud talking pawn. Biden was the quiet pawn. Trump got to pick the name of the operation from a list, that was his role. We are the biggest producer of oil now, supply shock hurts others globally more than the US (wasn't always the case). Now they get the other countries being affected pissed off at the strait and the US hopes now they take over and it becomes their conflict. We now get to sell OIL near record prices for a while, build up reserves, and embrace for higher energy demand by going to nuclear. We need enough oil to get us through for a while and then the US gets to become a lot more dependent. Same reason China been dumping US bonds and wants to move away from the US dollar. Also why the Japanese and US alliance is getting so strong as they now replaced China as the top holder of US debt. I think politics is mostly checkers but we all think they are playing chess and this is why so many conspiracy theories arise.

$PYPL at $61 was another terrible take of @TheLongInvest, with price moving down to $38 shortly thereafter. But as always, he's turning his followers into long-term "investors" by shilling stocks that are in a clear downtrend/falling knife state and thus going lower. Then, he simply says "the patient ones win" or "it's a gift at $50 if it goes there". The strategy to induce people to think he's always right. Pretty simple.

The Long Investor @TheLongInvest sharing stocks like $NVO $UNH and $NKE makes me wonder whether his name implies that he simply wants to turn his followers into long-term bag holders? If these names would've bottomed, he would've claimed the fame for it. If they go down further, which all of them are doing, he simply says "think long term" or "holding long term wins". Pretty good strategy for always being "right" and luring people into the overpriced subscription where you get 3 charts a day. I post 20+ charts a day, every day, for free.

@chad_ventures @TheLongInvest This guy made me lose so much money. He's great at marketing but his stock picks are really bad. $NIO at $30 he was saying it's going to $150 now it's $5. Doesn't talk about it anymore. He'll block you if you say something in his patreon and your yearly subscription is gone

But here’s the downside: adverse selection kicks in. Younger, healthier folks lose jobs first and often drop coverage or switch to cheaper options, while sicker members stay. The pool gets more expensive. Plus higher utilization from delayed care + recession stress. For Oscar specifically, this is tricky. Their big ICHRA vision (employer-funded individual plans) would start in a terrible environment – companies cut budgets fast in a downturn. And Oscar tends to attract younger/healthier members, so they end up writing big checks into the Risk Adjustment program to subsidize carriers with older/sicker pools. That’s why the market might be pricing in more risk than the headline guidance suggests. Recession = ACA tailwind in theory… but ICHRA headwind in practice. What do you think – overblown or fair concern? $OSCR

$OSCR is getting punished by the market right now, even with its strong 2026 guidance. In my view, the real concern is how a recession would hit their ICHRA growth story hard. • Normally recessions actually stabilize or even boost the ACA market: Job losses mean tons of people lose employer-sponsored coverage and flood into ACA Marketplaces or Medicaid. More enrollment = more premium revenue (as long as the risk pool doesn’t completely collapse). • Subsidies scale automatically with falling incomes → insureds pay less out-of-pocket, but insurers still collect the full premiums. The government picks up the tab. • Risk Adjustment smooths things out – carriers with sicker members get paid by those with healthier ones.
