WATCH: A fiery meteor appeared to plunge toward Mayon Volcano in the Philippines as the volcano erupted, lighting up the night sky in a breathtaking scene straight out of a disaster movie.

I’d like to talk to the people calling Louis’ decision to play smaller venues or fewer countries a “failure.” First of all, people need to understand the actual context of today’s touring industry instead of reducing everything to giant numbers and ego. If anything, the “mistake” may have been the second tour being too ambitious in certain markets. For example, here in Argentina, the smartest move probably would’ve been choosing something between a Movistar Arena and a Vélez stadium. A middle ground that most likely would’ve sold out anyway. And that’s exactly where the disappointment from some fans comes from. They see this adjustment as a step backwards, when in reality it may be the complete opposite: reshuffling the cards and building a more sustainable strategy. Because producing a stadium show and producing an arena show are NOT remotely the same thing. More sound. More lights. More stage production. More staff. More logistics. More risk. And then there’s the weather factor. One heavy storm at an outdoor stadium can cancel an entire show, sometimes without even having the possibility of rescheduling quickly. All of that affects the numbers massively. Tours today NEED to be profitable. Nobody goes on tour to lose money. Nobody. At the very least, the project has to break even in order to keep growing and continuing in the future. And there’s another reality many people ignore: the amount of concerts happening right now is overwhelming. Fans have to choose what to attend and what to leave for later because financially it’s impossible to do everything. And this isn’t just a Latam issue. The global economy is affecting everyone. Even in Europe, where following tours between countries used to be much easier and cheaper, people are struggling more now. So imagine what that means for Latin America, where distances are huge and costs multiply quickly. Choosing certain countries first doesn’t mean “failure.” It means reducing risks, securing numbers, and then adding more dates or more countries if the equation works. That’s literally how the music industry works now. And this isn’t happening only to Louis. Huge artists are also adapting their formats and venues. Robbie Williams, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5… all of them have adjusted capacities and locations depending on the market and economic reality. Bigger doesn’t always mean better. Sometimes the smartest decision is making sure the concerts work, sell well, feel full of energy, and allow the artist to come back many more times. And personally? I’d rather have 10 Movistar Arenas than one massive stadium. Because I like actually experiencing the artist, feeling connected to the music, seeing the details, living the atmosphere up close. Sometimes stadiums lose that intimacy completely between giant screens and endless distances. Don’t see the glass half empty. See it as an artist learning how to adapt in order to stay standing for the long run. 💙 #LouisTomlinson #LouisOnTour #LT3 #HowDidIGetHere #AlwaysOnTheRightSideOfLove #VintageFans #LiveMusic #MusicIndustry #LATAM #HarryStyles #HS4
