Lately, I’ve seen a lot of talk about our team being “tired.” Tired from what, exactly? They’ve been playing one game a week for most of the season until, what, the last two or three weeks? Meanwhile, you’ve got 32 year old Salah, who’s logged 400 more minutes than any Chelsea player this season, practically dragging Liverpool toward a Premier League trophy. Spare me the “tired” excuses. We’ve got the youngest squad in the league. If they’re knackered already, we might as well pack it in now.

15 shots but only 1 on target against Palace. Plenty of chances to kill off the game, but again poor finishing. The fact that Enzo didn’t start Tosin or Diasi today shows he has little confidence in either…making a point to the board.

@DeanCFC_ Agreed. Lavia’s injury woes are too much, no matter how good he can or will be. To much pressure on Enzo and Caicedo. Santos looks ready to be recalled.

Since the start of last season, Romeo Lavia has started 7 games for Chelsea & played 509 minutes in total - this is simply not good enough. The club should seriously be considering integrating Ugochukwu or Santos into the squad either this window or in the summer.

@EmenaIo Do think we should sell, when we are able to. 3rd season of injuries, which isn’t good. Need a reliable CB partnership. Sad for the player, of course.

@tovers98 We need to consider a new signing or, if possible, recalling Chalobah. Feels we with dread that we might ever have to use Diasi again as a starter. I believe that Guehi might be an option as still to agree a new contract at Palace plus we have sell on clause. #CFC

Wesley Fofana being potentially out for the season is really concerning. Not sure how long we can continue relying on his fitness because this isn’t the first time he’s been out for ages. Serious conversation needs to be had at Chelsea about bringing in an elite RCB in January.

@CarefreeYouth Has to be RB. Want to see him linking up with Neto/Madueke in the right. Can cover at RCB but only if needed.

I’m intrigued to see if Maresca uses Reece James in the RCB role

The club left Chalobah at home during preseason. Chased him away to train with the development squad. Barred him from using the first team facilities until he agreed to leave. All to try & cash in on his pure profit & now we need a CB because the ones we kept can't stay fit 😂

@Blue_Footy Been impressed with Delap. Only 21, and has the attributes to play for a top 6 side, plus used to the league. Not sure Ipswich will sell in January though.
