@OntheSpotPopUp Do you find that’s still the case? Is it improving? Believe it or not, Edmonton is a world leader in public engagement and has won international awards for it. But that may only mean we are maybe a half step ahead in much needed improvement.

I am curious. Does anyone even pay attention to Council? Do you know what each Councillor has accomplished during their term? I don’t blame you at all if your answer is no! Council tends to be fairly low key. #yegcc

@aaronpaquette I do. We kept missing things that affected markets and small businesses. We would waste so much time trying to advocate because the City didn’t ask the right people for input

As a group, this iteration of #yegcc has accomplished a ton of really great things for the City. There will always be challenges, but it is kind of sad that some people have to paint our amazing City as some kind of dystopian nightmare just to get attention.
