Accessibility poses a major barrier for individuals who rely on a wheelchair or walker for assistance and for many public transporation poses to big of a barrier. Companion Drivers are trained to fold and unfold wheelchairs and walkers, safely assisting riders into their vehicle.

Onward's Favorite Driver Feature is designed to change that. If a rider enjoys their time with a driver, they can be added as a favorite so that they are paired again on future trips.

There is no one size fits all fix for social isolation.

Things that might feel easy today, like getting behind the wheel and driving to an appointment will present foreseeable barriers to aging adults. That's why we're slowing down and building healthcare transportation solutions for seniors.

Onward's Favorite Driver feature combats social isolation by allowing riders to save their favorite Companion Drivers in their preferences so a familiar face is arrives at pick up.
