Now let’s explore the most important part of any chain: what’s being built, and who’s building it. Monad’s mainnet isn’t live yet, but activity around the ecosystem is already gaining momentum. Testnet participation has been strong, with developers deploying smart contracts, testing performance, and contributing to ecosystem tooling. Because Monad is fully EVM-compatible, developers can port over Ethereum apps but run them faster and cheaper. That makes it an ideal environment for DeFi protocols, gaming projects, NFT marketplaces, and tooling infrastructure. It’s still Solidity. It’s still the EVM. But it runs on a much faster, cleaner execution layer. In addition, Monad’s ecosystem fund and early builder support are bringing in high-quality projects before mainnet. That’s not just incentives, it’s because builders recognize the advantage of being early on a performant chain with familiar tools. As the launch draws closer, expect to see more ecosystem announcements, partnerships, and onboarding opportunities. If you’re a developer, now’s the time to experiment.
