Season 2 of points (SC) farming is coming to an end Hey everyone! The second and final public season of Open Academy is almost over. We'll wrap things up: — all your SC will be converted to OA; — your certificates and Battle Royale activity will be counted. What changes next: We're switching off rewards for general activity in the app — except for the tasks section and course quests, where rewards may be a fixed amount. This lets us start collecting real data on the product, which we need to keep improving our learning mechanics. $OA rewards aren't going anywhere, but from now on they're only for The Squirrel Club members, in the "Club" section, and only for targeted actions that help our platform grow. Stay tuned, details coming soon.

We’re gradually moving away from the Telegram Mini App toward a full-fledged app — a smoother experience, notifications, and widgets. This is a deliberate step toward a product you’ll actually want to use every day. And to address it right away: don’t worry that there aren’t many courses yet. We’re intentionally not chasing volume — first we’re launching the app and the studio, and then we’ll actively fill the platform with content. Coming soon 👀

✨🤔 Working on a brand book sometimes leads to unexpected discoveries... Along the way, we noticed that certain elements of the Open Academy logo transform easily into images of their own, all while keeping the same geometry and modularity. That's how this interpretation came about: a cat assembled from parts of the letter A and the "block" inside it. The result turned out to be an image that fairly accurately reflects the process of building Open Academy itself: a living, flexible, ever-changing constructor that evolves gradually — through experiments, iterations, mistakes, discussions, and dozens of small improvements. And it's also a reminder that behind every product there are, after all, real people. They try, make mistakes, redo things, celebrate the lucky finds, and keep moving forward — step by step, or rather... paw by paw 🐾

Time for a progress update. 1/ First and most important — we made an emoji pack → t.me/addemoji/OAope… 😎 2/ Updated vision I gathered all my thoughts and wrote up a full, fresh, updated vision for Open Academy — roadmap, business model, product breakdown, where we are and where we're going. If you follow the project, worth a read → x.com/OpenAcademyAI/… 3/ We launched Open Academy Studio in Beta + opened the waitlist In short: the Studio is where you create and generate Duolingo-style courses about literally anything — then push them into Open Academy or your own apps (Mini App, direct link, white-label academy, etc.) If you're a creator, join the WL → studio.open-academy.app 4/ We shipped a Premium subscription Premium is live (learn.open-academy.app). Next we'll fill it with courses, features and more to keep growing the value. It's $9/month for now.I decided to ship it raw instead of waiting for the perfect moment. What matters is that the technical foundation and logic are ready to scale. 5/ Fresh brand book Might seem like "who needs this," but a single style and source of truth is always worth laying down early. 6/ Launched "Guides" Hard to capture the full depth of this one. Short version: creators can build guides and publish them to our portal (getting SEO + site traffic). ✅ Open Academy Studio — Whitelist registration is now open Studio is our second product, a tool for creating courses. Build lessons manually or generate them with AI, publish them in Open Academy, and earn. 👉 Join the Whitelist: studio.open-academy.app What's happening now The beta runs through the end of August, with access rolling out gradually via the Whitelist. Priority goes to creators, influencers, and active community members. What's next After the beta, Studio will become available to everyone. Anyone will be able to create their own courses, publish them in Open Academy, and earn through a streaming model — a share of subscription revenue proportional to course completions.
