We feel it's time to move on.

Joseph's mother passed away weeks after his birth, leaving his grandmother to care for him. With limited resources, she struggled to provide for the needs of a newborn but thanks to #OpenArms, Joseph now receives essential #nutrition and support and is developing well at home.

In 2019, Ashville College staff and pupils helped build Muawa Nursery School with local builders. Imogen, who participated, returned to #Malawi recently to volunteer at Open Arms and was thrilled to see the school thriving, providing education and meals to 80 local children!

A strong bond with a primary caregiver is vital for a child's emotional security and development. Wherever possible, #OpenArms supports orphaned and vulnerable babies at home with their extended family to help this important bond form. #Malawi

Rejoice, a happy 19-month-old, is thriving with her family, thanks to support from #OpenArms. To help the family achieve food security and economic independence they have now been placed on our new #agriculture programme. Together, we can support more families like hers!

Josephine, one of the very first babies to join Open Arms’ Community-Based Care Program, has started at a local nursery school and in just a few months she is flourishing, full of confidence, self-esteem, and an enthusiasm for learning. We’re so proud of how far she’s come!

Mervin faced physical challenges and needed regular physiotherapy from his aunt. After four months, Mervin can now walk and run confidently, developing well physically and socially, showing the impact of continued care from his family with support from #OpenArms.
