OpenPanel Analytics
@OpenPanelDev
The power of Mixpanel, the ease of Plausible and nothing from Google Analytics 😉

@rishi_HQ Mostly pros tbh.
Great default analytics
Privacy friendly
More features rich compared to similar products like plausible, simple analytics etc
Simple to use but can be used for advanced product analytics
Cons
No feature flags (on the road map)

RIP SEO agencies.
This free GitHub repo just gave Claude Code the ability to read your Search Console data, diagnose your traffic drops, and rewrite your site to fix them.
It's called Toprank. Type one command. Get a full audit and a 30-day action plan. Tell it to implement. Done.
Here's what it does that no SEO report ever did:
→ Pulls 90 days of real query and page performance data from Google Search Console
→ Flags pages with 400+ monthly impressions stuck at position 11–20
→ Detects duplicate homepage URLs splitting your domain authority
→ Identifies keyword cannibalization automatically
→ Rewrites title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and structured data
→ Doesn't hand you a checklist. It ships the changes.
The prompt that made me stop:
"Fix my title tags for pages losing clicks."
Claude reads the data. Sees which pages have high impressions but low CTR. Rewrites every title to match actual search queries. Pushes the changes.
That's what an SEO agency charges $2,500/month to not quite do.
Works with Claude Code and Codex. One install command.
100% Open Source. MIT License.

@rudrank I’ve moved from Plausible to @OpenPanelDev and I’m pretty happy with the move!
English

@higherrorua Not sure to be real honest with you. Isn’t capjs just a wrapped browser? Then it should be working

this is 🔥

We’ve been on a similar journey at @dashversetech — figuring out analytics at scale. Building on top of open-source (@OpenPanelDev) + heavy internal optimisations. Today, we’re able to handle ~7–8 billion events/month without relying on expensive third-party tools.
English

@mertduzgun Yes, but it will probably take awhile. But you can always get latest and greatest if you become a supporter.

@OpenPanelDev off topic:
1- does OpenPanel promise the same feature set to self-hosting folks as hosted version?
2- if yes, when is google search console integration coming? it’s a game changer for me since my oss directory sells ad slots based on it’s impression and visitor count
English

always rotate your logs when you're self hosting @OpenPanelDev
my 40gb disk got full in a week and i lost ~10 hours of traffic logs because of this ://
i'm selling ad space on my website and traffic is important to show. it's the only reason i picked openpanel
however, logs are coming from bullmq and it seems like nothing is wrong with openpanel source code i assume
but as someone who tried a 4usd hetzner vps to self host openpanel for the first time, i never expected this

English

@mertduzgun Not on you, should probably have been in migration guide for v1 -> v2!
English

@OpenPanelDev i already added manually. thank you!
i’ll try to be more useful next time by scanning PRs first!
great project!
English

@mertduzgun Sadly this change is not in the docker-compose.yml and that does not get updated.
Try apply these changes github.com/Openpanel-dev/…

@OpenPanelDev What pricing plan would I need to purchase this exact dashboard for my own site?

Thanks to @OpenPanelDev, I've enabled "replay sessions" on one of my websites...
This opens a whole new aspect to better understand your users!
I should have enabled this a long time ago.

I built a CLI that tells you which open source programs your project qualifies for.
@getsentry, @JetBrains, @OpenAI, @claudeai all have their open-source programs but most of them don't know.
One command. 15 programs. Zero signup.
