We don't need more chains but we need more infra to get a consumer crypto outbreak Building a live streaming platform today is fairly easy compared to building it in 2011. Twitch had to build and figure everything out themselves. The entire tech stack had to be built in house. That took away time and resources from focusing on the app itself. Fast forward a decade, there's a SaaS product for everything. Most internet companies are built by leveraging dozens if not hundreds of SaaS products that fulfil specific purposes. Payments, servers, databases, log-ins, internal chats/documentation, security, CRM, and the list goes on. This reduces the barriers to launching a new product. Teams can focus on focus on building the application itself instead of solving infra problems. Which in turn increases the rate of experimentation and launching of new applications.
