Reform are now pivoting back to using security concerns as a defence for the £5m bung, so it's worth reminding ourselves why they moved away from this explanation originally.
-Farage could not produce any evidence that the money had been spent on security.
- In fact he purchased a £1.4m house, and spent £0.7m on renovating another propery, shortly after recieving the £5m. Quite a spree!
-Origionally Farage said that the house had been purchased with his fee from "I'm a Celeb", but @nw_nicholas and later the FT, revealed that this money had been paid into his company accounts, and had never left.
- After this, in a round of disastrous media appearances, the explanation changed to a reward for Brexit, and then to spend on anything he liked - for example Ferraris
- Now, we seem to be moving back to the security explanation, even though it has also been revealed that Farage was offered state security, to the same level as Kemi Badenoch 🤔

Think it's worth repeating. Zia Yusuf claimed no state support was being offered to Reform MPs for protection. In reality, Nigel Farage was offered a car, a trained driver, a bodyguard, and security on a similar level to that offered Kemi Badenoch. That's quite the deception.

Is this the beginning of trickle-down incitement?
Small boats are way down, immigration is slowly being brought under control. There is very little ammunition for Reform to weaponise into a summer of 'civil disobedience'.
This feels like the first move.

The beginning of civil disobedience & rightly so. Why is this not a National Emergency? Only @reformparty_uk & @ZiaYusufUK take this issue seriously enough to act. How is this normal or right for a thousand men being housed in an open site? There are at least 200,000 more men who have come illegally! How is that not a national security threat. The system will break. The UK is broken. Reform will fix this and the UK will be all the better for it.

I had many murder threats from Reform voters for posting a mild meme about Anne Widdecombe. The hypocrisy is wild. The ironic thing is that Anne would have defended my right to be offensive.

On the issue of what stirs up hate:
* Reform hosted Lucy Conolly on their main stage at conference
* Senior members of Reform, such as Zia Yusuf, regularly describe their political opponents as "traitors"
* When Keir Starmer's house was firebombed, prominent Reform supporters circulated Russian propaganda minimising, and joking about, the attack
So when it comes to political discourse what are the rules. If jeering at Nigel Farage in the House of Commons chamber crosses a line, what is the line now.
