I think Resident Evil is the gold standard of proper IP handling
- Remakes and new entries
- Plenty of storylines and characters
- A solid, dedicated game engine
- Efficient dev cycle that lets them release new games often
I wish more franchises got this treatment (ex: Halo)

- Showed not all games need unreal engine 5
- Showed we don't need a PS6 next year with the insane optimization
- Physical copies sold out worldwide mostly (i'm affected too - pre ordered in jan...)
- Very likely it will be the fastest selling RE game yet
- Amazing user scores on psn and steam and critic scores
- Showed how strong single player gaming really is in 2026
Capcom really showed us they are a high contender for the best publisher in the business today (at least #1 3rd party wise)

@kingdomchainz It’s amazing when you can build your own deck, purchase your cards, plan your strats and combos, and execute. Soras portion was amazing and it felt really satisfying beating Marluxia with the deck I built. Fuck Rikus part though. I cannot play with his shitty precon hand.

CoM/Re:CoM battle system is one of those systems where I think its unironically really good, but don't blame people for not fucking with it.
