She is suing Richneck Elementary School former Assistant Principal, Ebony Parker for $40m after she was shot in the hand & chest by a 6 year old student. The lawsuit is accusing Ebony Parker of “ignoring multiple warnings that the boy (known as “JT”) brought a gun to school” hours before the shooting. REMEMBER❗️ Ebony Parker still faces a separate criminal trial on 8 counts of felony child neglect. Her trial is expected in November! • A judge dismissed the case against the District’s Superintendent & the school Principal as defendants. • The boys mother, Deja Taylor plead guilty to her changes & was sentenced to nearly four years in prison for felony child neglect & federal weapons charges. Her son (“JT”) told authorities he got his mother’s handgun by climbing on to a drawer to reach the top of a dresser, where the gun was stowed in her purse. WHERE IS THE STUDENT❓ He was NOT charged & is reportedly in the care of a relative & he is enrolled at a different school.
