Full time thoughts:
I don’t want to see Mateta again, he’s useless, just sell him.
Wharton was sent off for the exact same thing that Caicedo wasn’t, class.
Chalobah didn’t concede a penalty for handling the ball in the exact same way as Canvot, class.
Chadi Riad back is brilliant. Lacroix was good. As was Richards, as was Canvot (bar one mistake)
Ref ruined the game completely but we didn’t deserve to win either.
We’re now well and truly in a relegation battle. West Ham are on form and we’re well and truly not. Sack it off, footballs shit anyway. #cpfc

Thoughts on Esse
He isn’t helping himself with his body language - doesn’t chase back when dispossessed, tricks in his own half, not playing the team game
Having said that, he’d probably benefit from an arm round the shoulder, rather than the disciplinarian approach of Glasner

@RyanTCWallis I’d argue only Yoro, Fernandes, Mbeumo and Cunha would make our best XI, and even then one of the latter 3 would have to miss out as Fernandes can’t play in that midfield 2.
