Moloch from the UK remains to be one of the few contemporary metal bands in the sludge/doom genre I find interesting. Supposedly an Iron a Monkey homage, they’re the perfect distillation of EHG for me. Almost impeccable sense of aesthetics. Very punishing live. Beautiful people.
