Crime prevention tip for vehicle break-ins. To help prevent your vehicle from being broken into and your belongings stolen here are a few tips. Always ensure that your vehicle is fully secured when leaving it. Also do not leave any belongings in view within your car.

It’s been a fun week for the Tucson Police Midtown division. Earlier in the week we met Santa at the Arizona Autism School for Holiday Fun with the kids. Saturday was midtown’s shop with a cop at Marshall’s. Loads of holiday fun. Huge thanks to Marshall’s for sponsoring Saturday

Huge thanks to everyone that came out to our Pictures With Santa event. Santa and McGruff both said they had a blast and were very happy to meet so many new friends. It’s always fun to see so many smiles during the holidays.

Santa is here now. Come on down. Boys and Girls Club. 29th and Columbus. Come on down get a picture with Santa and have a cup of hot chocolate. We will be here till noon.

This Friday Tucson Police Midtown Trunk or Treat. 5-7 PM. Pima Community College 29th Street and Columbus. Get your costumes ready and come have some fun with us. Safe Fun Family event. Plenty of goodies and laughter. See you there!!

Friday October 24th. Tucson Police Midtown Division Annual Trunk or Treat. Pima Community College at 29th Street and Columbus. 5-7 PM. Come on out for a fun night of costumes, candy, and fun. Safe family event to come enjoy the holidays and have fun as a community. See you there!

Tips for school zones. Avoid a ticket. Hit the brakes. School zones are 15 mph, slow down. Eyes up, Phone down! Watch for kiddos crossing the road. Red lights = FULL STOP. If a school bus is flashing red or crosswalk light turns red-stop. It’s about keeping our kids safe.

Tomorrow Noon- 3PM. Ice Cream with a Cop. Cold Stone Creamery. 1927 E. Speedway. While we are there the store will be running a $3 a scoop promotion. Come have some ice cream, have a conversation, ask a question, get some community insight. We want to hear from you. See you there

We would like to send a huge thanks out to everyone who donated supplies to help make our Back to School Bash as successful as it was. There is way too many to list but if it was not for everyone’s help we would not succeed as a whole. Thank you!!!

Thanks to everyone that came out yesterday. It was a great time and always amazing to see all the smiling faces. Many backpacks, bicycle helmets, booster seats, and other goodies were handed out. Huge thanks to our community partners that donated & everyone that put up a table.

Tomorrow’s the day. Freedom Park 5000 E. 29th. 9AM-1PM. Tucson Police Midtown Back to School Bash. Handouts, food trucks, resource fair, raffles, jumping castles & officers in a dunk tank. Fun for everyone. Come on out and have some fun. See you tomorrow!!

This Saturday. 29th Street Back to School Bash. Freedom Park 5000 E. 29th Street 9AM-1PM. More fun just added. Midtown officers will be in the dunk tank!! Bring cash to throw for an opportunity to dunk an officer. There will be free raffles & raffle tickets for sale. Cash only.

Saturday July 26th 9AM to 1PM Tucson Police Department Midtown has our annual 29th Street Back to School Bash. Freedom Park (5000 S. 29th St). Some handouts to include bike helmets(while supplies last), booster seats (for those who qualify), plus more. Raffles, food, fun for all.

Huge thank you to everyone that came out for the stuff the TPD truck today. Lots of great donations were dropped off today and some amazing snacks for our officers as well. It is always amazing to see a community that supports and wants to help our local schools. THANK YOU!!

We are out at El Con Mall now until 5 PM. Come help stuff the bus!!! We are accepting supplies for our Midtown Schools. They can use the help. Accepting all supplies. Come on down!!

2 more days. Come on out and help fill the TPD Truck. Saturday Noon-5 PM El Con Mall by Marshalls. We will be accepting all school supplies and everything that is donated will go right back into our Midtown Schools. Can’t wait to see you there!!
