Crime prevention tip for vehicle break-ins. To help prevent your vehicle from being broken into and your belongings stolen here are a few tips. Always ensure that your vehicle is fully secured when leaving it. Also do not leave any belongings in view within your car.
It’s been a fun week for the Tucson Police Midtown division. Earlier in the week we met Santa at the Arizona Autism School for Holiday Fun with the kids. Saturday was midtown’s shop with a cop at Marshall’s. Loads of holiday fun. Huge thanks to Marshall’s for sponsoring Saturday

Tips for school zones. Avoid a ticket. Hit the brakes. School zones are 15 mph, slow down. Eyes up, Phone down! Watch for kiddos crossing the road. Red lights = FULL STOP. If a school bus is flashing red or crosswalk light turns red-stop. It’s about keeping our kids safe.

Thanks to everyone that came out yesterday. It was a great time and always amazing to see all the smiling faces. Many backpacks, bicycle helmets, booster seats, and other goodies were handed out. Huge thanks to our community partners that donated & everyone that put up a table.

Saturday July 26th 9AM to 1PM Tucson Police Department Midtown has our annual 29th Street Back to School Bash. Freedom Park (5000 S. 29th St). Some handouts to include bike helmets(while supplies last), booster seats (for those who qualify), plus more. Raffles, food, fun for all.
Huge thank you to everyone that came out for the stuff the TPD truck today. Lots of great donations were dropped off today and some amazing snacks for our officers as well. It is always amazing to see a community that supports and wants to help our local schools. THANK YOU!!
